SUNNY’s POV

 

“Good Morning…” I greeted as soon as Yuri entered the dorm at exactly 5:50 in the morning… There wasn’t a hint of surprise on her face, which totally not surprise me at all but could she just be a little more surprise? I mean if I were her I’m gonna more----, what the hell?! She just walk pass into me.

 

“what?... no good morning too?” I asked following her to the kitchen, taking some fruits or veggies on the fridge… “I save you the trouble…” I said stopping her and closing the fridge, then showing her a glass of blended juice

 

She looked at me with the end of her right brow rising but still finally, finally! She looked at me.

 

“what is it?” she asked

“a juice?”

 

She eyed me, telling me the obvious.

 

“well…” I start putting the glass on the table “it’s a peace offering…. For what I said before”

“so, is this the fruit for stalking me for a week?” she asked teasingly

“I’m not stalking you!” I defended

“yeah?... so it’s just a coincidence that you make something that I always drink at 5:55 of the morning?”

“so, you never looked at the trash bin for like every morning for 5 days?.... so you------“

“okay, stop it….” I stopped “you’ve made your point… but I’m not stalking you… I’m observing…”

“if that’s your story….” She said wearing a victory grin

“how do you do that anyway?” I asked “ exactly 5:50 every morning, stepping at the door and make this juice?”

“it’s called discipline….”

 I almost blurted laughing “discipline?… did you just said discipline?” I mean it’s not supposed to be funny but coming from her… Kwon Yuri, discipline? God!

“I thought you were apologizing…” she said

 “sorry…. Just… can’t help it” I said then composing myself… “yeah… I wanted to apologize, for what I said…”

“and I told you that no offense is taken…” she said, but it makes me feel more guilty…. I know that she said that but what I said to her, I don’t think you can’t just ……

“you can’t just, no offense taken that Yul, it’s hard, and I know it” I said “it’s just that… in our work every day we live with people around not knowing if they were true or not, sincere or faking it for the sake of working… and it’s almost unbearable for me…. and having someone like that beside me everyday… it’s more than I can handle”

“so, is that me?

“I’m sorry I’m just having a hard time accepting what you did there…. because all 8 of us never saw anything, I never even saw you flinch when one of us got hurt even for one second…. Because that’s you and I get that, and I accept that, because you’re just being you…. and what you did there, what you said to me… that’s not you, Yul, that isn’t you...” I confessed, I know that were talking because I want to apologize but I ended saying things that were not really on my list today but I’m sure I’m not gonna regret this

I expected her to say like… you’re annoying, get lost! Things like that, because that’s what she is, what she always do anyway but she didn’t…. Instead she looked at me and asked me that one question

 

“Do you even know me?”

 

It’s a simple yes or no but for some reason I don’t know what to choose, I can’t even find a words to say that very moment, I just stood there… looking back at her…

 

“I’ll take this…” she said taking the glass of juice I made for her and breaking one of the most speechless moments of my life “and good morning….”

 

“Okay! Let’s take a break” the dance teacher said

 

“Do you even know me?” that question has been repeating on my mind and it’s been 7 hours since she asked me that and still I don’t know  the answer

 

“what’s with the deep long sigh?” Taeyeon asked as she sits beside me, then look from where I’m looking at

“Yuri again?” she asked

“what? No…” I lied

“I know you can lie, but not on me” she said “and don’t think that I didn’t notice that you’re like stalking her these past days…”

“I’m not stalking her…” I said

“of course you’re not, why would you do it anyway….” She said “and I know that Yuri is a lot of things but, really, what’s the deal with her?”

“Kim Taeyeon….” I start

“Okay, that’s weird” she said laughing

I know it’ll sound weirder but “Do you know Kwon Yuri?”

 

Taeyeon stares at me for 3 seconds…. “okay, that’s really weird”

 

I sighed “I’m crazy, right?” I mean I feel like I’m going crazy

“no, you’re not…  you’re just asking a crazy question” she said “but, yeah, it sounds crazy”

 

“so you’re asking if I know, Kwon Yuri…. That girl sitting opposite who’s wearing her earphone but we are not sure if she’s really listening to music or if she’s just wondering if there’s someone asking if we knew her, that Kwon Yuri?” she asked laughing

 

I laughed, nodding “yeah, that Kwon Yuri…”

“Kwon Yuri? No… I don’t know ” I knew Taeyeon and I knew that she’s being serious

“you don’t?” I asked, and now laughing was nowhere near us “but we’ve been living together for almost seven years, how could you not know her?”

“yeah, I mean…  she pissed a lot of people including both of us, annoying, short tempered, so serious, maybe unreasonable and a lot of people who’s not living with her know that but like them that’s all we know even if we live with her I mean I don’t even know who piss her more, if it’s me or you.” well I’m pretty sure it’s me, right now but she’s right we’re no different from people outside, we don’t anything about her.

 

“what about we hire someone to investigate her?” she asked laughing  “I mean, we could find out why Yuri is being so secretive.”

“you’re ridiculous” I mean sometimes I kind of wanna do that but like what I’ve said, it’s crazy

“are you not curious if she has a brother or a sister? I bet I will like them more” she said still laughing

“okay… let’s stop that, before Yuri could really hear us talking about her” Taeyeon’s starting to get crazy right now and I’m not really sure if I’m ready to ask someone again if they know Yuri

 

End of POV

 

“Hey, Tiff we’re gonna eat, where are you going?” Sooyoung asked preparing their food

“Nickhun just called, he’s at the parking lot” Tiffany answered “you can eat first”

 

Sooyoung nodded as Tiffany went out

 

“where is she going?” Sunny asked who just finished changing her clothes

“ahhh, Nickhun is down there” Sooyoung answered

“Ahh, what about the others?” Sunny asked “have you seen Taeyeon?”

“Jessica is sleeping, Yoona is filming, Hyoyeon and Seohyun are taking a shower, Yul of course I don’t know” Sooyoung laughed “I don’t know about Taeyeon, she didn’t tell you where she’s going? That’s a first”

 

After a couple of minutes…

 

“did he came here just to give you that?” Hyoyeon asked looking at the pink totoro Tiffany is holding

 

Tiffany smiled “yeah...”

 

“that’s sweet” HYoyeon said

“is Taeyeon sleeping?” Tiffany asked looking around

 

“no…” Sooyoung answered, the others were shaking their head “she’s not here yet”

“you sure?” Tiffany asked “I just saw her car down there”

“you should ask Sunny about that” Hyoyeon said

“but I don’t think she knew, I asked her earlier and she didn’t know where she is” Sooyoung said

“that’s new” Hyoyeon said

 

Then Sunny came out from her room

 

“you don’t know where Taeyeon is?” Tiffany asked with everyone looking at her “cause I just saw her car down there but she’s not here”

“ahh, yeah…. She texted me, I just read it late” Sunny answered “she said she’s just gonna walk around”

“ahh, I see” Tiffany said

“of course she’d text her…” Hyoyeon said

“you know that girl, she likes walking around” Sunny said with a nervous smile “where are you, Taeyeon?”

 

Sunny run from her sit when she heard the door open

 

“Oh my God, Tae-----“

“not Taeyeon…” Yuri said, as Sunny came back from her sit with disappoint

“she’s MIA again?” Yuri asked following Sunny

 

Sunny didn’t answer

 

“don’t you get tired?” Yuri asked “waiting for her every time?”

“she’s my best friend, I’ll never get tired of her” Sunny answered “you, where have you been?”

“why the sudden interest?” Yuri asked

“in case you hadn’t notice we always asked, just you never told us”

“well, then maybe stop asking…”

“you know you’re rude, right?” Sunny said

“heard that a lot and yes, I’m rude”

 

Sunny smile “of course you are…”

 

Yuri stood from her seat “I am so I’m gonna go sleep now and you, you can wait here all you want”

 

“Yul….” Sunny almost whispered “from what happen earlier, I----“

“don’t apologize….”

“But I-----“

“just don’t….”

“fine, then can I ask you something?” Sunny asked

 

Yuri looked at her

 

“can you give me a chance to know you?”

 

And before Yuri could say anything, Sunny’s phone rang, and Taeyeon’s name appeared on the screen.

 

“Oh my Gog Taeyeon, where are you??!!” She asked as soon as she answered “yah!! can you say something?!!!” raising her voice, not hearing anything on the other side “Taeyeon! Taey----- who is this?? Where is Taeyeon???!” it was a girls voice but it wasn’t Taeyeon confused yet worried was evident on her voice and face

 

“wait for me and don’t you dare do anything to her” she said as she hurriedly runs to the door but got stop when Yuri grabbed her arm

 

“are you gonna get her like that?” Yuri asked “what, are you gonna come running?”

When Yuri’s words come on her senses, she calmed herself.

 

Yuri let go of her “I’m driving….”

 

“Yul, you don’t have to do this” Sunny said as she followed Yuri on her car

“just put your seatbelt” Yuri said as she starts the engine

 

“Taeyeon?! Taeyeon!” Sunny screamed as soon as they get inside the bar, then she run towards the room where the crew told her.

 

“Oh God Taeyeon!” She screamed when she saw her unconscious at the table with all the bottle of drinks around

“I didn’t mean to touch her things but I don’t know who to call, she’s probably calling you but she passed out, so I answered it, instead.” The girl crew told her

 

“give me your phone…” Yuri said to the crew

“what? Why?” confused was evident on her voice

“I didn’t do anything…” the girl said

“just give me your phone, God knows what you took while she’s lying there” Yuri said

“Fine…” the girl said unlocking her phone

“I’ll get it back to you later,” Yuri said as she took her phone

 

“what about your car?” Sunny asked when Yuri decided to use Taeyeons car

“I’ll get it back later…” Yuri answered, driving

“it’s the first time that she completely pass out” Sunny said looking at Taeyeon at the back seat

“are we gonna head back to the dorm?” Yuri asked

“I don’t know….”

 

After driving for a couple of minutes, Yuri pulled over

 

“where are we?” Sunny asked “why are we here?” they were at thepark

“you said you don’t know where to go…” Yuri said “so well stay here until you decide”

 

Yuri stepped out of the car, followed by Sunny

 

“don’t lie down there,  you’re gonna catch a cold” Sunny said when Yuri lie down on the grass

“but it’s worth it” Yuri said looking at the beautiful sky with starts all over it

 

Sunny sit beside her “do you go here often?”

“just when I want to see those stars” Yuri answered

“do you think she’s gonna be okay?” Sunny asked

“you’re the best friend, you should know that better than me” Yuri answered “but she will, she’s the first person who hit me in the face anyway” then she laughed which makes Sunny smile

“did it hurt?”

“well, that kid knows how to punch”

 

“Sunny…” Yuri said waking Sunny up “Sunny…”

 

Sunny blinked for a second “did I fell asleep?”

“yeah, you should sleep inside the car, you’re really gonna catch a cold if you sleep here”

 

“you can sleep… I know you’re tired” Yuri said “we still have 4 hours before the sun hits and everyone wakes up”

 

Then they heard Taeyeon mumbled as she tried to sit straight

 

Sunny took a bottle of water and gave it to her “how are you feeling?”

 

Taeyeon didn’t answer as she took a sip “where are w----- Yuri?”

 

“yeah, she helped me get you” it was Sunny

“now I don’t know what’s gonna be worst, my head or the fact that Yuri help” Taeyeon said leaning her head at the back

“do you feel any better?” Sunny asked “can you go back to the dorm?”

“no, I don’t wanna go back there…” Taeyeon answered as she remember Tiffany and Nickhun at the parking lot earlier, it was unbearable for her “I don’t wanna see her…”

“what are we gonna do?” Yuri asked

 

Sunny looked at the window “let’s go home”

 

“Taeyeon, were here” Sunny said tapping Taeyeon’s shoulder

“I got this” Yuri said as she slowly pulled Taeyeon out of the car “are you sure about this?”

 

Sunny shook her head “no, but all of us needs a rest”

 

“where…….. are……… we?” Taeyeon asked half asleep, helping by Yuri to walk, but no one answered

 

Sunny entered the code, as she pulled the door, letting Yuri and Taeyeon to go first

 

“where are we?” Taeyeon asked again as she completely open her eyes

“at the dorm….”

“what?” Taeyeon asked “didn’t you hear me?”

“Taeyeon you’re drunk, let’s just talk tomorrow” Sunny said holding Taeyeons arm

 

Taeyeon jerk her arm “I said I don’t wanna come here!”

 

“no need to shout” Yuri butted in

 

Taeyeon looked at her “why?? you think you’re the only one who can do that?” then she looked at Sunny “where’s my key?”

“you’re not going anywhere” Sunny said “not like that”

“what? You can’t do that to me, where’s my goddanm key!!”

“hey!” it was Yuri “what do you think you’re doing?”

“you, what do you think you’re doing?” Taeyeon asked back

“you’re drunk, you’re not thinking clearly”

“you think I’m not thinking clearly, it’s you who’s not thinking clearly….  What are you really doing Kwon, huh? Decided to be the good guy? Is that what you’re doing right now? Defending her?”

“I’m not trying to be anyone… I’m here because you’re being unreasonable”

“unreasonable?... you have no idea what I’m feeling right now, you don’t know what it feels like to love someone else, because you’re not capable of loving anyone else but yourself!!”

“maybe you’re right… but you know what unlike you, I never make my best friend wait for me this whole damn time! I never make my best friend get worried about me to death! I never make my best friend lie for me! I may not be capable of loving anyone but I am not selfish like you!!”

“what did you say?” Clenching her fist, fury was evident on her voice

 

“Yul stop it” Sunny said standing at the middle of them “we’re all tire------“

 

Yuri brushed Sunny on the side softly “no, she need to hear this….. you think the world is being unfair to you? There are billions of people out there who are going the same pain as you, Wake up!  You’re not living in a fairytale so you better get your together and accept the reality!”

“Don’t dare talk to me about reality because I know that better than anyone!” She screamed as she swing her fist on Yuri

 

“can you be my girlfriend?”

Tiffany nodded as she smiled “yes… yes…”

 

 

“I know that, because reality is what brought me here! reality is the reason why I’m being like this!”

“I love you” Tiffany said on the phone to Nickhun

 

Yuri pushed her down the wall “The world is not turning to her!!!” Taeyeon struggling to free from her “You think she’s what makes the sun shine, no! She’s what makes your eyes tear and rip your heart apart, she’s the thoughts in your head that’s breaking you, and I know you love her, but she’s killing you, she’s killing you! dammit!!!”

 

Taeyeon stop struggling as she looks at Yuri “the world is not turning to her…. But she is my world” as the tears dropped from her eyes “and every day I am fighting for myself …. She’s killing me but I can’t stop it” as the tears continue running down “I can’t stop it, Yul… I can’t”

“Dammit Taeyeon, Dammit!” Yuri said as she punched the mirror beside Taeyeon

 

The sound of shattered mirror echoed in the whole room, as everyone rushed to see what’s happening, broken pieces of mirror everywhere, Yuri bleeding and Taeyeon crying.
