“Jess…” Tiffany called when she got inside the practice room

“----“

“Jessica” Tiffany called as she touched her shoulder

 

Jessica looked at her “I’m sorry….you’re saying something?”

 

“are you okay?” Tiffany asked as she sits beside her

“yeah…. Just….” She sighed “last night….. I never had a dinner with Tyler”

“why? are you okay? Did you guys fight?” she continuously asked

“no… we’re okay…” Jessica told her “just…. I can’t remember what happen last night”

 

Confusion was evident on Tiffany’s face “what do you mean you can’t remember?”

 

“Tyler called me last night that he won’t make it due to his meetings… and I went to buy some wine then back to our dorm, then woke up with this cut on fingers, that’s all I remember” she explained

“it’s okay, girls get drunk” Tiffany said

“the thing is, there’s no sign that I’ve had drinks on our dorm, no bottle of wine, no use glasses, nothing….” She said

“maybe the girls cleaned it” Tiffany asked

“I already asked them but no, they didn’t see anything last night” Jessica said “what if I didn’t bought anything, what if I went on a bar and drunk myself there? And did stupid things?”

“hey… if you did something last night, you’ll be at the headlines right now” Tiffany said

“what if I met some guy, who gave this to me” looking at her cut fingers with a band aid “and I------“

“hey, don’t think like that” Tiffany said comforting her “you’re not that kind of girl”

“Tiff, I was drunk, I can’t even remember what happen, I a------“

“shhhhh, It’s okay, it’s gonna be okay” Tiffany said as she hugged her “you’re safe, you’re here with us that’s all that matter”

 

“Yuri-ssi…”

 

Yuri stops her tracks as she looked at the person

 

“Hi!” the girl greeted cheerfully

 

Yuri looked at her waiting if she just waited her time for saying “hi”

 

“do….. you…… know me?” hesitation was evident on her voice

“is that your way to know if you’re popular?” Yuri asked

“n-no, of course not” the girl answered “I just figured we’ve only had a chance to had a conversation when they introduce us, which happened three years ago and only composed of, hi’s and hey’s… so basically, it’s the second time we talked and first time that you ever, ever say more than five words to me”

“and now I’m relief that I never talk to you” Yuri said with no emotion at all “you talk too much”, she said as she walked past to her, but then stop when the girl talked again

“now I know why my sister could never say thank you to you” the girl said as she looked at Yuri “wanna know the truth… I have no intention of talking to you but I’m curious of something”

 

Yuri looks at her

 

 

“still thinking about it?” Tiffany asked when she saw Jessica looking at her finger

“yeah…. Can’t help it” Jessica answered

“well, I have something that might take your mind off of what happen last night” Tiffany said

“what is it?”

“does Krystal and Yuri know each other?” Tiffany asked

“you mean my sister Krystal and Kwon Yuri?” Jessica asked

“yeah… I saw them talking outside” Tiffany said “I wouldn’t mind it if I didn’t know that Yuri is not the biggest fan of being friendly”

“yeah,… that’s new” Jessica mumble

 

“My sister told me what happen at the airport” the girl said “Tiffany is her best friend and like a sister to me and for what you did there, I know that she was thankful because she can’t do anything for her best friend and I do too” she said as she looked Yuri in the eye “but now I get it, why she can’t”

 

“are you done?” Yuri asked like the girl did not say something “you clearly wasted my time”

“funny, we think the same” the girl said smiling dryly then left

 

 

 

Taeyeon drunkenly walks her way towards the door of their dorm. As she balances herself as she tried to punch the code of their room but she can’t get it correctly.

 

“Sunny… Sunny” Taeyeon mumbled while sliding her thumbs on her phone searching Sunny’s name

“got you”, she mumbled as she leaned on the door and bring her phone to her ear, but because of her drunkenness, she dropped her phone on the floor

“seriously?” she asked while looking at her phone as if it could talk

 

She tried to stand straight, which failed, but manage to knock the door, …then knock again… she sighed heavily after she knocked for the third time and no one’s opening the door. Well she couldn’t blame anyone, it’s 3 in the morning and all of them were tired from today’s schedule… she sighed again as she leaned her head on the door…, then a moment later…

 

“OhhH!” Taeyeon gasped in surprise when the door opened and made her stumble on the person behind the door

“s-sorry…” Taeyeon apologizes as she tried to stand up

“what are you doing?” there’s no sign of emotion on the voice

“I’m sorry, Yul… just had a few drinks” she said as she leaned on the door

“can you move out of th-----“

 

“Taeng!…?” Sunny blurted as she run towards her

 

Taeyeon looked at her then smiled, then passed out

 

Fortunately, Yuri was there to catch her…

 

“My god Taeyeon!” Sunny said as she looked at her

 

Sunny tried to balance herself as Yuri handed Taeyeon to her…

 

“Yul…” Sunny called hesitantly “can you help me with her, I hurt my ankle earlier”

 

Yuri looked at her, then to her foot, then to Taeyeon, as she took her without saying a word

 

“just put her on the couch” Sunny said while following them

 

Yuri look at her

 

“I thought she’s not gonna come tonight so I asked Seohyun to sleep on her bed” Sunny explained “she might wake up and I can’t let her or anyone see Taeyeon like this”

“spare me the details, I don’t need it” Yuri said as almost throwing Taeyeon on the couch

 

“thanks…” Sunny said as she fix Taeyeon

 

Yuri was gonna leave when Sunny called her

 

“Yuri…”

 

Yuri looks at her “don’t worry, I didn’t see anything”

 

Sunny smiles at her “thank you”

 

Sunny pour water on a basin, then took it but having a hard time from walking because of her injured foot

 

 

“Yuri?” shock, surprise was evident on Sunny’s face when Yuri appeared and took the basin from her

“just go get a towel” Yuri said without looking at her

“y-yeah…”

 

 

“if you’re gonna say something, just say it” Yuri said with her eyes closed sitting on the opposite couch “stop staring at me…”

 

“I-I’m sorry…” Sunny apologized as she looked away “just-----“

“I’m not helping you… I hate wasting my time waiting and couldn’t push to our schedule just because one person hurt her ankle” Yuri said

“okay…” Sunny can only say

 

“I thought you don’t want others to see that drunk?... cause you’re not really doing a good job” Yuri said looking at her watch it’s been an hour and members might wake up any sooner

“I-I’ll---------“

“just shut up” Yuri said as she carried or more like dragged Taeyeon on her room

“be careful…” Sunny said following them

“she won’t feel, trust me she won’t even remember it” Yuri said still on Taeyeon

 

After putting Taeyeon on the bed they both went in the living room,

 

“where are you going?” Sunny asked when she notice Yuri walking to the door

“well, I’m a little late for my jogging”

 

Sunny nodded “be c-careful”

 

 

Sunny woke up from the noise of her members…

 

“why did you sleep here?” Tiffany asked

“huh?” Sunny asked half-asleep, as she sits herself

“why did you sleep here?” Tiffany asked again “you might catch a cold”

“I, ah------“

“did you have a visitor?” Tiffany asked when she noticed two cup of coffee on the table

“no, it was mine”

“two cup of coffee?” Tiffany asked unbelievably

“yeah… I was kind of in a mood” she answered

“okay…” Tiffany nodded “that’s a nice blanket anyway”

“what blank---“ she only realized that she had a blanket on her…

 

“how you feeling?” Sunny asked Taeyeon

“worst…” she answered “but thanks for last night”

“do you remember what happen last night?”

 

Taeyeon shook her head “nope… but I’m sure you took care of me again…”

 

“Sunkyu-ah, can I borrow this?” Jessica asked holding the blanket that she used earlier

“I…, ah—can I say no?” she asked hesitantly

“obviously not” Jessica smiled as she went outside following by others

 

Sunny’s POV

 

We just got a break after rehearsing for almost4 hours; As soon as Yuri walked outside the room I hurriedly followed her, well obviously I have been trying to talk about her about what happen last night, I even sit beside her the whole ride, but of course like the usual her, she’s sleeping or pretending to be. So, yeah… I wanted to talk to her and thank her not just for what she did to Taeyeon but for that blanket, no one at the girls talk about that blanket and I’m pretty sure Yuri did that, and who would’ve have thought that Yuri could that. I mean if I didn’t live with her for almost 5 years I won’t be surprised but that’s the thing I’ve been living with her that long and never once for any that she did something like that, until last night.

 

She just turned to corner and here am I trying not to get her attention but obviously it didn’t because the moment I turned that corner boom!, she’s there standing, obviously waiting for me.

 

“ahhhhh!!!” I screamed unconsciously taking a step back “My God Yul! You startled me!”

“and now it’s my fault?” she asked

“no… I mean--- just what are you doing?” I asked after calming myself

“I could ask you the same” she said “you keep on staring at me the whole ride and now you’re following me”

“I-I’m sorry…” I quickly apologized “I just wanted to thank you”

“told you, don’t----“

“not for Taeyeon” I cut her off “but for the blanket…”

“it’s for the coffee” Yuri said

“I… was…. Yeah” I answered as she looked down

“and for my blanket, I’m sure you’re planning to give it back”

“y-yeah, of course!” I looked at her “I was planning to earlier but Jessica used it”

“I noticed”

“but I’ll give it to you as soon as possible”

“how are you?” Yuri asked from nowhere

“what?” I asked unsurely

“your foot, how is it?”

“oh…” was the first thing that I could say, I never thought that she’d ask “I can manage”

 

She nodded as she bumps me intentionally,

 

“what the hell!” I can’t help blurted trying to balance myself which totally failed ended up Yuri catching me

 

“I thought you can manage” Yuri said balancing me

“well you, purpose----“

“stay here…” Yuri said as she let me go

“what?” I asked as she starts walking away without saying anything

 

After a couple of minutes, I finally caught a glimpse of Yuri she was holding a plastic which I totally don’t care on what’s inside

 

“where did you go?” but instead of answering me Yuri took me wrist leading me through the elevator and went into the rooftop.

 

“sit…” Yuri said

“you’re being weird, Kwon” I can’t help but say she’s totally being weird but I sit anyway

 

Then Yuri sits in front of me taking what’s inside the plastic that she’s holding earlier… then I saw an ointment and so on…. Then… it click…

 

“no, it’s fine, I’m alr------“ I was gonna stand up and leave

“don’t move…” Yuri said as she took my foot

“Yul, it’s tota----“

 

I heard her sighed and it’s not a good sign, I stayed there like a child

 

 

“you didn’t tell them, didn’t you?” Yuri asked putting some reliever on my ankle

 

And she’s right, I never told the girls “they would’ve make a fuss over it”

 

“of course they would…” she said that made me smile

“is there a camera somewhere?” I asked

Yuri looks up to her “what?”

 

“is someone recording this?” I asked again looking around if there’s a camera around “cause if there is, you could’ve told me, you don’t have to do this… if you need something to clear your name for that rumour of your bad manners, I will help you”

“you notice?” she asked, of course I notice… camera is the only thing that can make Kwon Yuri smile

“but I never thought that you’d do something like this, you must have really need it badly” it wasn’t really a nice thing for me to say but it’s true

“-----“ I got no response from her, means I hit the spot, then she slowly putting my feet down

“when did you learn to do this?” I asked looking at my feet, its good and looking at it and I can bet that it wasn’t the first time that she did something like this

“why would you think that I’m recording this?” she asked

“I don’t really think that’s a secret” I stated, her doing something like this, something really big behind

“Tiffany hurt herself before you never asked if she’s okay… Jessica collapsed but you never visited to the hospital, Taeyeon almost got kidnapped at the stage and you just stood there, I’ve lived almost 6 years with you and if there’s something that I would remember from you………… it’s not how good you are at dancing, it’s not the way you smile in front of camera… but the emotionless you behind the camera, the you who never cared for us” I must’ve been holding that for a long time and I never imagine that I would say it especially under this circumstances

 

for all the things that I’ve said, I expected her to beat the hell out of me but there was no emotion coming from her, it’s like she’s wearing a mask….

We’ve lived for almost 6 years but I never thought that it’s possible… until now…

I was gonna leave she finally said something…

 

“your coffee was terrible” what the hell was that??!!!… and before I could say anything “or you must have hate me so much for having a trouble of making me that terrible coffee”

 

“I was thankful for what you did but I guess even thinking that I’m thankful to you is wrong… because you don’t deserve it, even my terrible coffee” I argue

“no one deserves your terrible coffee and I shouldn’t have drink it because I don’t drink coffee in the first place”

 

Did she just say that she doesn’t drink coffee?

 

“I never ask if she’s okay because there’s seven of you who already did, I hate hospitals that’s why I never visit her, and there’s a lot of people out there to protect us, there’s no way that man could’ve taken her”

“and Sunny I’m not a big fan of camera and definitely not trying to clear my name but no offense taken… you should go to the doctor, your ankle doesn’t look good”

 

Then before I could process anything that she just said, she disappeared from my sight…
