Part Sixty-Three
Random Acts of Love: KyuWook DrabblesThe Evolution of Physical Contact
Part III
Rock, Paper, Scissors
That was another of those situations in which I didn’t expect the reaction that came out of Kyuhyun. We were playing rock, paper, scissors against Henry to see who would have to drink some bad tasting concoction. I mean, neither of us wanted to lose, certainly, but when we both beat Henry, you’d think we’d just won a million dollars or something. Kyuhyun hugged me! Not just any hug, but one of those epic, super-excited winning hugs. Honestly, I think I was more thrilled about the hug than I was about not having to drink the nasty drink. Well, okay, I still wouldn’t have wanted to drink that either. But I felt like I had actually received a prize, not just escaped from a bad end.
Kinda like Home
Ryeowook took forever to change out of his last outfit and I began playfully yelling at him onstage to hurry and asking him what the hell was taking him so long. I don’t think anyone should be surprised by this, but this is not very unlike what happens at home when we’re trying to go somewhere because my Ryeonggu cares a hell of a lot more about how he looks running out the door than I do, even if we’re just headed to the store or to pick up food or to dance rehearsal. (As if you’re still going to look good a half hour into dance rehearsal! Okay, so somehow he manages to, but still.)
At any rate, I think I forgot where I was for a second or two. I think I must have thought I was at home again, since I was poking fun at him for taking so long. And we got a little too comfy with each other on stage
