Decisions
Our StoryLuhan was constantly tired. These days it felt like he didn't know any other emotion. Exhaustion crippled his mind and body, making him unable to do anything with interest. He kept all of his energy saved up for the public appearances and interviews, only smiling when necessary. It wasn't that he didn't get enough sleep. It wasn't that he was working harder. It was his mind.
Ever since Xiumin had given Luhan the opportunity to leave, it had been all he could think about. The advantages, the disadvantages, the results, the reactions, all these thoughts coursed through his mind until he felt numb from thinking about it. Until his brain actually seemed to hurt. It was after a week or so that he finally realized, at 1am in the morning with Xiumin cuddled up to him that he was going to leave.
All he could feel was a sense of peace, as his doubts began to go away. He would no longer have to worry about the question of whether he was going to leave or not. He then thought about actually leaving. How would he approach this? He would have to tell the members first, of course. But what else? Luhan was shaken from these thoughts when Xiumin turned slightly in his sleep, mumbling something inchorerently in his sleep. This brought Luhan's attention to the boy he loved.
Xiumin looked beautiful and serene when he slept. All of the stress and worry would disappear from his face. Luhan knew that if he left, he wouldn't be able to communicate with Xiumin. For a while, at least. Luhan leaned closer to the boy and placed a soft kiss on the boy's lips. "I love you." He whispered to the sleeping boy.

They would be going to China for a few concerts. They were currently at the airport, waiting for the plane. Luhan was listening to music and in a dazed half-alseep state when Xiumin appeared in front of him with a bright smile and a bag in his hand. "Hey Luhan!" He greeted cheerfully. Luhan glanced up sleepily and took of his earbuds. "Hey." He replied, yawning slightly.
"I bought some coffee." The boy informed, taking out two cups of coffee from the bag and holding it out to Luhan. Luhan looked at the cup and shook his head. "No thanks." He replied. "Come on, Lu-ge." Xiumin urged again, his smile even brighter. Luhan was just about to reply again when Chen appeared. "Can I have the coffee, Umin hyung? I'm exhausted!" Chen exaggerated. Xiumin glanced at Luhan. "You sure you don't want it?" He asked. Luhan nodded. Xiumin handed the drink to Chen. Chen grinned and took the drink. "Oh, Minseok hyung! I forgot- Baekhyun was looking for you." Chen said suddenly, smacking his forehead. Luhan looked curiously at the younger boy. He was acting a bit strange.
Xiumin gave Luhan one last look before nodding and walking away. Chen's grin immediately disappeared and was replaced by an angry look. "What the are you doing?" He asked Luhan. Luhan glanced up in surprise. "What?" He asked, unsure of what the boy was asking him about. "Do you not love Minseok hyung anymore?" Chen demanded. Luhan's eyes widened. "What are you talking about? Of course I still love him." Luhan said.
Chen scoffed. "Then why are you rejecting him all the time?" Chen asked straightforwardly. Luhan was confused. "I'm not rejecting him." He said dumbly. Chen sighed. "I'm seriously surrounded by idiots." He muttered before speaking to Luhan. "Look, for days now, Minseok hyung's been running after you, taking care of you while you go around acting like a ing zombie- which is worrying honestly- and everytime the boy tries to reach out to you, you ignore him!" Chen explained with annoyance in his voice. Luhan flushed slightly. "I'm not ignoring him. I've just been a bit preoccupied." He replied defensively.
Chen sighed. "Well, get you sorted. I've never seen Minseok hyung so upset." The boy said protectively, glancing at Xiumin from the corner of his eye. He then turned and left quickly. Luhan sat there in a daze. Chen would take care of Xiumin if Luhan left. This thought made him both happy and sad. But first, he needed to fix things and so he shook those thoughts away and stood up.

"Minseok." He spoke up. Xiumin and Baekhyun both turned around from their conversation, Xiumin looking at him with surprise. "L-luhan!" The boy greeted, seeming to be almost surprised from his appearance. Luhan bit his lip as he felt slightly guilty, recalling Chen's blunt words. "Uh, I- I brought us coffee." Luhan said, bringing out the coffees he had bought out from behind his back and holding them up, smiling uncertainly. Xiumin's eyes softened. Baekhyun's obnoxious voice spoke up. "But Minseok hyung already drank- OW!" Baekhyun clutched his ribs where he had just been nudged (rather painfully) from an ecstatic Xiumin.
"That's great! I'd love to have one!" Xiumin said eagerly, grabbing the coffee. Luhan smiled again, more confidently this time. "Let's go." He suggested and didn't bother waiting for a response before grabbing the older boy's hand and leading him somewhere.
If he had turned around, he would have seen Xiumin's face light up, his eyes on their linked hands.
