Saturday
Our Story“Man, what a day yesterday was.” Chen commented as everyone sat for breakfast on Saturday. Luhan nodded. After everyone had gotten over their shock over Lay, they had moved on and played a bunch of smaller games (eating contests, flexibility tests) and in the end, team Chicken had won. Obviously. Team Yehet had been forced, as a punishment, to cater for their hyungs and refer to each of them as ‘my king’ (Baekhyun’s idea) for the entire night. It had been hilarious watching the interactions between Tao and Kris; Tao had gotten pissed off after Kris had insisted that they boy needed a ‘timeout’.
Anyway, today was a new day; they were filming the last episode of EXO Showtime. They had already gotten their makeup done earlier in the morning and had been given outfits to wear. It was only now that they had time to eat breakfast. The members were all sitting in their seats, dolled up. “Tao! Be careful! Don’t get syrup on your shirt!” Suho scolded. Tao scowled. “I’m not going to do that! Why do you always think it’s me who’s going to get syrup on my shirt?” He asked angrily.
Kris rolled his eyes before sighing dramatically. “Maybe because you do always get syrup on you shirt?” He suggested sarcastically. Luhan tuned out, not wanting to hear the conversation between the parents and their son. Instead, he turned to Chanyeol. “Ya, Chanyeol. You want to play fifa with me later on?” He asked. Chanyeol grinned. “Sure, hyung.” He said, giving a thumbs up. “Don’t you guys have anything to do but play video games?” D.O. accused. Luhan scoffed at the younger boy. “He doesn’t get it.” He said to Chanyeol. Chanyeol nodded in agreement.

It was in the middle of the filming. They were doing the thigh wrestling. Luhan watched eagerly as Xiumin and Chanyeol went onto the chairs. “Look at the difference between their leg length!” Sehun whispered from next to him. Luhan winced at the word choice. “Length doesn’t matter.” He insisted. Sehun turned to him with a mocking look. “It does.” He retorted. “Chanyeol’s taller so he’s going to win.” Sehun said confidently. Luhan rolled his eyes and turned to see the match. “Okay, one, two, three!” As soon as the game started, Chanyeol split Xiuimin’s legs open and Xiumin (with the most adorable expression) let out a surprised noise (also adorable). Everyone began to giggle at how the person who had dominated the arm wrestling had been beaten so easily in the thigh wrestling.
“See? I told you.” Sehun said arrogantly from next to him. Luhan sighed. That boy didn’t know the pain of being short.

It was the end of their filming and Xiumin and Luhan were sitting on chairs, waiting for the car to come sleepily. “Man, I’m exhausted.” Luhan said for the sixteenth time. Xiumin nodded, like he had done every single time Luhan had said it before. Then he patted Luhan’s shoulder empathically. “Take a nap. I’ll watch for you.” Xiumin repeated. Luhan would never actually fall asleep, but the thought that Xiumin was there was comforting.

“I quit! No! Wait! Oh god! Yes! GOALLLLLL!” Luhan yelled and he and Chanyeol stood up before chest bumping each other excitedly and high fiving. “Yes! We did it!” Chanyeol cheered. Xiumin and D.O., who were sitting on the couch opposite them simply exchanged an exasperated look. “Are you done yet?” Xiumin asked, annoyance in his voice. Luhan glanced at the boy. “One more game? Please?” He pleaded. Xiumin sighed. “No way! Chanyeol, we need to practice for the radio appearance. You said you would sing a song with me!” D.O. quickly interjected. Chanyeol bit his lip. “I guess I should go.” He said to Luhan.
Luhan pouted. “Alright then. I should probably get going as well.” He said sadly. “Hey- don’t make it sound like going with me is something you don’t want to do.” Xiumin protested. Luhan quickly walked over and gave the boy a peck. “Sorry. Just give me a sec to pack up the game equipment.” He said before packing up the equipment. Xiumin waited for him as Chanyeol and D.O. left with hurried goodbyes.
“Come on, let’s go.” Xiumin said, grabbing Luhan’s hand eagerly. “Whoa! You’re grabby tonight!” Luhan said happily. Xiumin scoffed in response. As soon as they reached their bedroom, Xiumin pushed Luhan against the door and kissed him hard on the mouth. “Wow.” Was all Luhan could say when they broke apart. Xiumin smiled at him. “This may be the last night we have to ourselves before we go back to normal schedule, considering tomorrow is the New Year’s party.” Xiumin said softly. Luhan grinned. “Then, we should make the most of tonight.” He said cheekily. And they did.
They had , slowly and passionately, expressing their love through purposeful motions. They did it multiple times as well, until they could no longer keep their eyes open and their bodies were sore and aching (but it was a nice ache). Then, they lay in each other’s arms, not needing to speak at all; there was nothing to say.

It was the last time they ever had .
