REVELATION #08.
Y.T.T. / ˗ˏˋ THE FINAL STRETCH ˎˊ˗There was no practice for the second time due to something going on within the company, thus not allowing any trainees to be admitted into the building. One trainee, however, had went on a vacation with her family to China in celebration of the first day of Spring. Although it was not any sort of holiday, it was nice to get out with the family. On the plane ride to China a phone had vibrated, and it was the girl wearing a bright red sweater and high waisted jeans. She eyed her phone, which she had out on her lap, quite oddly. How did she get cell service when she is nearly 3,000 miles off the ground? She shook the thought out of her head. Maybe it was the fact they are about to land, or the fact the plane has wireless conection onboard. Either way, she just slept on the thought, leaving her phone to keep vibrating until they landed.
Once they had arrived to the airport the girl and her family headed to baggage claim to retrieve their suitcases, which consisted of their clothes for the next two weeks, bathroom essentials, shoes, and the usual supplies taken aboard on planes. The girl took a hold of her luggage, her phone still kept in her back pocket until she had fully retrieved her phone. When she had finished, she suddenly felt another vibration. She took out her phone to see that the caller ID was still from South Korea. She did not want to risk paying an international fee when she got home, so she left it to vibrate until her parents go and buy her a card in order to make calls to her friends back in Korea.
"Mom," her mother tongue of English came out, which caught her mother's attention.
"Yes, Constance," her mother spoke towards her daughter as they were walking away from the baggage claim and towards the exit.
"When will you be getting a card for my phone," Constance looked at her phone, turning it on to see how many missed calls she had as of now, which was four in total.
"Once we get to the hotel Your father is going out to get something from the market while I prepare our clothes for tonight's dinner with your sister." Constance sighed a bit. She did love her mother and she did love her sister, yet at times she feels her bond with her father to be stronger. She did not want to stay in the hotel room with her mother and pick out clothes that are not her style nor did she want to meet up with her sister who she has not seen in quite some time, yet she loved them both anyway. She nodded and muttering a low 'okay,' which her mother replied with a hum as they both continued to follow their father to a rental car area.
"How about this dress," Her mother held up a dress that was all white with a not-so evident pattern of lace floral from the waist down. The sleeves were also straps, which had caught the attention of Constance (here).
She shook her head, "It's too cold for a dress like that. Plus, it's too plain for me." Her mother sighed before nodding. They were looking for dresses at a shopping centre Constance's father had dropped them off at. Her mother had already chosen her dress, yet the style of Constance was hard to find, which may have possibly caused her mother to stress out. Her mother then spoke, "Actually, how about you choose your outfit? I'll meet you in the food court when you're done, okay?" Constance nodded as her mother left her with the last amount of money she had left, which was nearly one hundred dollars. To Constance that was enough to buy a dress as well as some accessories, depending if her style was expensive or not.
"Hello," Constance had answered her phone. Once she had got back from her shopping trip with her mom she was able to choose a beige-colored lace dress with a hint of black, almost alike to the style she likes: vintage. She had quite a lot of missed calls, all coming from the same caller ID. She figured it was right to finally answer the call, so she did.
"Hello is this Constance Cheung," a male voice was on the other line. Constance's brows furrowed together, before she realized who it was. "This is the CEO of J.Tune Camp, Gu Tae Won. Is this Constance Cheung?"
"Ah, you were all the calls I've been recieving," her voice was evident with fear and sadness of the fact she might possibly get yelled at or possibly kicked out of the company for missing almost ten calls from the CEO of the small company she had been a trainer under for so long. The hummed in response. Constance she ruffled her hair, "Ah, I'm really sorry songsaengnim! I'm actually in China right now and I didn't have a card to make international calls. I'm really sorry!"
"That's all right. Since you're busy I'll get straight to the point," Tae Won said through the phone, "How would you like to be an idol? I'm planning on a new girl group soon and I'm nearing the end of the chosen trainees to put. Are you up for it?" Constance was suprised, yet also still quite upset with herself. She began to nod her head, forgetting to say yes before she actually did. Tae Won chuckled a bit, "All right, but when will you be coming back? I have a contract that you need to sign in order to officially be apart of J.Tune Camp."
"I believe my mom said in two weeks," Constance said, sitting on her hotel bed with the dress laying on the bed as well.
"Ah, you'll be back when after the debut date we have in mind. Do you have any chance that you can get back next week?"
Constance tapped her chin, "I think the best I can do is next week on the twenty-seventh." The CEO hummed before nodding, "I believe you would have to miss the debut date, but I would still like for you to be a member of this group. Would it be okay with you if you miss the debut date and you may perform with the girls on the twenty-ninth?"
Constance nodded, "Of course! That's completely okay with me. As long as I can prove to my mom that I'm idol material, it's totally all right. Thank you!"
