you can call me leo (or lou). and i discovered kpop in 2010 through covers on youtube, when somebody whose anime covers i listened to, uploaded 2ne1's 'i am the best' for a change. I liked the song but I didn't really listen to more of that genre until a few months later when I stumbled upon shinee's lucifer and instantly became enamoured with Lee Taemin, who would become my first bias.

 So I started to look him up and listen to more Kpop, though it was pretty much just SHINee, 2NE1 and Taeyang's solo stuff. I watched some variety but my English had been horrible and back then I didn't know about tumblr, twitter or allkpop (though I'm kinda thankful for not having known the latter) so I just got my kpop fix on youtube. someday i got the idea that if shinee had such a big international fanbase, there must be something like a shinee fanfiction site, right? and that's how I landed on aff.

At first I was only reading but soon I also tried my hand at writing. I still get nightmares from my first English fanfiction attempt (now safely in draft mode) which was a horrible OnewxOC vampire + hospital!au. ...yes, it's as cringeworthy as it sounds like.

97% of the fics I read are chaptered. It takes some time for me to truly root for characters and with one-shots, I feel like as soon as I start appreciating the characters, the story is ending. I love reading before going to bed and then staring at the darkness still overwhelmed by the story and imaging how it could continue, how the conflict could be dissolved. I'm a er for urban fantasy or historical/pirate!aus and I also enjoy canon/idolverse or soulmate!aus a lot.

I started to participate in the apply scene about 5 years ago but went on a long hiatus in autumn 2016. My giant baby is still Solibaljeon which stands at proud 39 (me and LindaSeulyong did that!!!) chapters. I currently have another one, here is the link to it.
