“Why do you always do this to me?” Paula exclaimed, getting up on her feet.

“This was your idea, wasn’t it?” she asked Taecyeon, walking over to stand in front of him.

“Maybe,” he said, nonchalant, avoiding her gaze.

She rolled her eyes, and then motioned to her body to the rest of the group. “I am not a singer or a dancer! How do you expect me to do that in front of you guys?”

“Don’t make such a big deal out of it,” Nichkhun encouraged with another one of his smiles. “We just want to have some fun.”

“Uugh,” she sighed. “You’re just as bad as him, you know that?”

He grinned.

“Fine,” she sighed again. “I’ll do it. Play one of your guys’s songs for me.”

“Okay,” Taecyeon answered, motioning for Chansung to choose a song on the stereo.

She walked to the centre of the room, mentally preparing herself before starting. She caught Taecyeon’s eyes as she turned around to face her audience.

“I hate you.”

“Sure you do,” he said with a grin.

She shook her head, smiling.

“Ready?” Chansung asked, standing by.

She gave him her kindest smile. “Yes.”

And the music began.

It was Hands Up, one of the songs she first heard when she looked up their group. She was surprised (“How would they have known that?” she thought to herself), but gave her onlookers a cheeky grin as she started to move her shoulders up and down to the beat.
