Taecyeon was a few steps ahead of her, and already had the big black van’s side door open as she neared it, a bit farther away from the airport exit. And whatever he was telling them in those few seconds it took for her to reach the van door dissipated quickly as soon as she got to his side.

She looked inside the car with a small smile, seeing the other five members of 2PM seated on the edge of their seats and peering at her.

“Anyeonghaseyo,” she said, as she gave a bow. “Chehmeenimnida, bhangkapseumnida.” Hello, I’m Min Choi, it’s nice to meet you.

Echoes of “anyeong” were heard when the man to her left asked, “Meen?”

“It’s my Korean name,” she answered, as if it was a no-brainer.

“Tell them your English name,” he said, “Since that’s probably what you want to be called.”

She rolled her eyes and faced her audience once more.

“Call me Paula,” she said with a smile.

And she was met with more smiles.

Taecyeon then motioned for her to enter the van. She hesitated for a moment, wondering if she should bring her suitcase in with her, when one of Taecyeon’s security guys appeared beside her and took it from her. “I can trust him…right?” she thought amusedly. Then she hopped into the car. As soon as she seated herself, Taecyeon also entered the van and slid the door closed.

She took her backpack off, blinking a few times to adjust to the darker interior, and turned her attention to the rest of the group members.

Taecyeon started the introductions: “You already know Nichkhun and Wooyoung.”

She nodded, noticing that they were right behin
