The next time Paula got to hang out with her 2PM friends was a couple weeks later. They wanted to meet her at the Gangnam-Gu Office Station, so that’s where she went.

The sun was setting as she made her way to the subway. It was getting chilly since it was nearing nighttime, but that didn’t stop her from dressing up a little, since she thought they were going to another club: her green dress flowed with her body, her white flats complimented the belt she was wearing, and she had a black coat on to keep her at least a little warm on her way to wherever. She also had a tan purse slung across her chest. Paula rarely wore makeup, even on a daily basis, but on this night, she wore a touch of eyeliner and lip-gloss.

When nearing the station, she paused in her steps.

Standing right before the stairs to go underground was Taecyeon. But that’s not what surprised her. He was dressed semi-formally, with black dress shoes, black dress pants, and a light blue button down shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows. He had a black jacket draped over his arm; his hair was slicked back, like it usually was; and he had one of his beautiful smiles on his face…And in one of his hands, he held a single red rose.

Paula didn’t know what to do, suddenly shy from his appearance and the stares she was getting from passersby, but she walked over to him nonetheless.

“Taec—” she started to say, only to get interrupted.

“Hi,” he said.

She looked up at him with an eyebrow cocked up.

“Hi,” she replied, a little curtly.

“This is for you,” he said as he gave her the rose.

She stared at the flower for a moment, until his insistence brought her back down to earth.
