Why the hell did I agree to this, again?

Yoongi was seriously questioning his sanity as he stood in line for the Ferris wheel. Hyomyun kept peeking up at him from the corner of her eye, the death grip on her hand worrying her. Jin and Sara were chatting happily in front of them, but the ringing in Yoongi’s ears prevented him from hearing anything.

The line moved forward a little, and with it, his hold on her hand tightened.

“We don’t have to ride this if you’re scared.” She leaned up to whisper in his ear. He glared down at her, but immediately regretted it when she looked away, pouting. His eyes softened and his grip turned into a more encouraging one, knowing she didn’t mean it in a negative way. So damn innocent.

“I’m fine.” He replied back, and when she smiled up him, he really was.

But, only for a moment.

The line moved again and Yoongi started to feel sweat beading down his forehead. Sara looked back at the other couple and nudged her boyfriend. Jin gave Yoongi a knowing smile, but knew that convincing him to go back wasn’t an option. He was too madly in love with Hyomyun to let her down; even if he was terrified of heights. He put on a fake smile as the four of them stepped into the booth.

Hyomyun gave his hand a gentle squeeze and she leaned her head on his shoulder, striking up conversation with Sara.

Both Jin and Yoongi were surprised when the girls hit it off so well. Yoongi credited to Hyomyun not having many feminine influences in her life. Lord knows he was just as happy that her new friend was female. He had a hard enough time dealing with her being close with the rest of the guys. Yoongi was definitely the jealous type.

“I’ve always liked being able to look out over the city from the Ferris wheel. It almost feels as though I’m flying.” Sara giggled, and Hyomyun nodded in agreement.

“It certainly is beautiful.” She sighed, snuggling even further into the crook of Yoongi’s neck.

He looked down at her, overcome by the unbelievable warmth just from seeing her, gave him. The city isn’t nearly as beautiful as you.

Yoongi groaned internally. When the hell had he become such a sap?

Jin seemed to notice his friend’s internal battle and smirked, shooting him a ‘you’re so whipped’ look. Yoongi just glared and flickered his gaze down to Jin’s hand tightly clasping onto Sara's. Yoongi wasn’t the only one whipped.

The Ferris wheel jerked a little when it stop to let more people on at the bottom. Yoongi let out a yelp, surprising everyone, including himself.

Jin was the first one to break out into laughter, and Sara joined him shortly after, their combined laughter shaking the booth. Even Hyomyun giggled to herself, wondering if Yoongi could get anymore cute.

“All of you just shut the hell up. I don’t need this .” He growled, pulling his hand away from his girlfriend and turning his head to frown. It was short lived, however, when the booth jerked again and he found himself clutching onto Hyomyun’s hand once again in fear. “This is the last time I get on a damn Ferris wheel, understand? It’s a onetime thing.”

Hyomyun just chuckled and nodded, reaching her head up to peck him on the cheek. “I understand. Thank you for going on with me, once.”

Yoongi immediately felt bad for going off on her, but she didn’t seem to mind, as she starting talking with Sara again.

“We should get ice cream next. It’s hot outside, and I have a craving for cookies and cream.” Sara suggested, giving Jin puppy dog eyes.

He didn’t even try to say no and smiled. “Anything you want, babe.”

Yoongi prayed that he didn’t turn out like that; he would probably kill himself if he did.

When they got off of the Ferris wheel, Yoongi’s legs were shaking, and that ice cream actually sounded pretty damn good, considering he just wanted to sit in a chair that didn’t move over a hundred feet in the air.
