It was a night that connected our lives with a blood oath and a delicate friendship that much rather resembled an irrevocable dependency.
I thought I had found pure freedom but that was not exactly it.
I had reached a freedom that was destined to be tainted with blood.

Then You came into my life; I thought it ended.
A semicolon, though, is used when a sentence could have ended, but it didn’t.

All I ever wanted was to free myself from the coma that is depend.
But, you see, love can so easily be confused with dependence.
And freedom can so easily be confused with a coma.
And when I looked into the mirror, I saw Andromeda. I saw the chained lady.

Foreword
Innocence turning into craving to be the king of everything and the destructive lust for blood.
It took only one thought, triggered by our rotten pasts, to connect our lives
with a blood oath that went deeper than any friendship ever could
I still remember the childishly excited look on young Seungyoon’s face, when he decided on our future.
The future which had our hearts derail for good.
WINNER was created and formed into a gang
that was equally as respected as it was feared.
I liked to think of us as unbreakable, unstoppable.
But there are always those who don’t quite agree
and are brave enough to challenge
what others just condone.
Block B; the not-quite-agreers.
First it was all about power, it was all about who was on top.
Blood was spilled shallowly.
But it quickly turned into getting back at each other and
taking what not belonged to the other out of pure spite.
And in the middle of it all, I wondered where our pride, dignity, respect and sanity went.
On a search for every possible thing to hurt the ones closest to you,
betrayal chasing you down,
you might discover things you never asked to find.
Things that were never meant to be found.
Betrayal. Loss. Family. Despair. Friendship. Love.

Pure freedom feels like dying and resurrecting all at once.
True freedom is not seeing the green smear of a forest, but every single tree.
But this is not what I had reached.
I had reached a freedom that was destined to be tainted with blood.
Not my own to be fair.

A / N: So, if my description and foreword make guessing a little hard, this is a gang au.
I pretty much at descriptions because I just can’t make things short to save my life,
but thank you for still taking interest in the thing I’m trying to create here.
