“How did you manage to get this back? Our old dorm, I mean? I have a hunch that Sunny made it possible?” Jessica smiled upon imagining the third eldest among them, pulling the strings to get their old dorm back.
Yoona’s smile widened upon remembering the revelation that her Sunny-unnie had made while they were watching over an unconscious Jessica in a private room inside the terminal just moments after the Jung’s arrival.
“In truth, Sunny-unnie had actually asked her uncle to preserve this place – not to let go of the SoShi lair even though we had decided to step down from our pedestal years ago and had stopped sleeping here.”
Jessica lifted her head, eyes widened at her dongsaeng’s revelation, gaze shifted to her older sister, beseeching confirmation of the tale. Taeyeon smiled at her, nodding to confirm Yoona’s account.
“This place was kept as it was when we left it. Sunny had connived with Sooyoung and Tiffany to help preserve this place. Those sneaky kids visited this place from time to time to clean up and check on things with the caretaker.”
Yoona chuckled at Taeyeon’s choice of words. Jessica smiled gratefully.
“Yuri-unnie and Juhyun found you a few private nurses and a doctor who can check on you from time to time. Hyoyeon-unnie and I have made arrangements for their lodging. The one on duty is currently staying in the dorm next to ours. And since Taeyeon-unnie’s got plenty of time as a freelance painter, she’ll be with you most of time that I really find her situation very envious!”
The three of them laughed heartily at that, with Jessica being more careful this time.
“They should have given you the role of Kang Jonghee back then, Taengoo.” Jessica said softly, her grin still prominent.
“Thinking about that, it could have been fitting but then… the kissing scene…”
Yoona and Jessica both laughed at Taeyeon’s now sour expression after having thought over the past. The eldest in the room smiled after seeing her sisters happy.
This is beyond beautiful for a moment.
A silly childlike music reminiscent of a nursery hymn disturbed the moment. Yoona brought out her phone from her pocket, a frown surfaced upon seeing the reminder that flashed on her screen. She looked up to meet her unnies’ curious eyes.
“My visit’s up. I have class in a few.” Yoona pouted, refusing to leave the room.
