Burn all the ScarsSunjung took a sharp breath when she finally was able to process what her friend had just said.
Her eyes widened in a mixture of anger and shock.
“What did you just say?”
“Huh?” her friend Joonmyun, who had been rambling on about how amazing of an apartment her had found her, questioned once her heard the cold tone of her voice.
“Joonmyun, what did you just say?”
Sunjung was not really in a mood to repeat her sentences.
“I said that my friend, your housemate, will be arriving soon.”
Joonmyun’s eyebrows furrowed as he saw the woman in front of him clenching her fists.
“What’s the problem?”
“You said he would be arriving soon.”
Joonmyun nodded in confirmation, which caused Sunjung to take another deep breath.
“How did you fail to mention that your friend with whom I’m supposed to live is a man?”
The coldness in his friend’s voice made Joonmyun stop breathing for a moment. Honestly, he had never seen Sunjung angry. In all the fifteen years that he had known her, she had never been angry with him. But now all he could feel was the anger resonating off her.
He’d prefer her to shout at him rather than ask one question in a chilling tone and then become silent.
Then again, what wrong had he done anyways?
“I didn’t think that it would be a problem.”
“You thought that living with a strange man wouldn’t be a problem for me?”
Sunjung couldn’t help but be angry.
She knew that Joonmyun had done his best to find a suitable place for her and she could admit that he had out done himself but…
