The ticking of the clock made my ears ring as I anxiously awaited Sehun’s arrival at the main house. I had to be strong. I had pack a small yet sufficient bag for when I was going to leave and had successfully hid it.

Fear shook me down to the core as the sound of the wait staff welcoming him home rang through the hall ways. The thumping of my heart was deafening and painful. I had to do this for him.

He would come to our room first for me I was sure of it. The sound of his dress shoes against the marble floors became louder and louder until the French doors of the bedroom burst open revealing the disheveled man.

“Jinae…” he took a deep breath as he approached me.

I remained firm both of my hands planted on the vanity, I stared in the mirror trying to avoid his eyes.

“Jin…” he whispered once more pain evident in his voice as he grasped my hand.

Tears began to roll down my cheeks at the thought of leaving. I couldn’t do it not after what happened today.

“Baby I’m so sorry,” he exhaled as I let out a sob.

Quickly yet gently he pulled me into his arms allowing me to breakdown.

“I couldn’t even protect myself,” I cried out as he grasped the back of my neck and held me against his broad chest.

“I’m so sorry,”

Apologies continued to roll off his tongue as I stood there in his embrace.

“Sehun, I love you,” I stated as slowly pulled myself away from him “My heart felt as though it had been set on fire the moment I had the slightest feeling of not being able to see you again. So much that I didn’t give a about what she was doing to me,”

He stood there staring at me, his eyes gleaming with a darkness I had never seen before.

“You’ve ed me up Sehun but I don’t think I could bear not being yours” I said breathlessly as he stepped forward closing the space between us “I don’t think I could live another day not feeling the way I do when I’m with you,”

“I ing love you Jinae,” Sehun growled as he clashed our lips together in a passionate kiss.

The pain of my injuries was fading as the fever of want went burning through my veins.

I didn’t care anymore. I didn’t care who he was or what I was doing
