Jiyong found himself smiling like an idiot once again, just staring at a jumble of numbers on his phone. 

He had finally reminded Jieun to send him the passcode to her apartment's lock a few days ago, since he'd just kept forgetting ever since she came back. And that day his schedule didn't include the other Big Bang members at all, which just made the ridiculously long day pass that much slower. His heart pound slightly when he thought about his best friend. We were so close, he recalled the night after leaving the party Kiko had shown up at, then slapped the side of his head, trying to regain his cool.

But still, he failed to repress the smile, feeling the giddiness the memory brought him nonetheless.  

They reached their building and decided to go up to Jieun's apartment.

"Are you hungry?" She asked him.

"No." He replied. "Are you tired?" He asked back.

She shook her head. They were standing in the little space directly behind the front door, before the opening into the living room, in semi darkness, the white light of the full moon enough for them to see each other's faces.

Jieun was the first to move.

"Where are you going?" He asked her.

"To the balcony." 

And so she did, sitting against the cool glass with her knees pulled up to her chest, having grabbed a blanket off the sofa to wrap around herself for protection against the cool autumn breeze. He did the same and sat next to her, sliding the door closed behind him. 

"I had fun." She said, referring to the party.

"Yeah, it was fun." He replied. Then, "Sorry we had to leave."

She shook her head. "It's alright. I get the feeling of wanting to avoid your ex."

He laughed a little, any other day she would have been a bit offended, but that night she just looked at him, then joined him, giggling. Suddenly, her head fell to his shoulder and he froze. 

"I think I might be tired." She said, and he scoffed. 

His amusement only lasted a second though, until the scent of her perfume wafted up to him. He felt something he hadn't in a while. The first time she'd made him feel that way had been way back in their first year of high school, the first time he ever saw her really smile. It happened every now and then, when she look
