Jiyong sighed inwardly as he stood through the entrance ceremony. People were already gossiping about him, about how he was a trainee. Hopefully, he thought, they'd forget soon.

He slipped out of the auditorium as it begun to draw to a close and reached the class that he had been assigned to before the throng of students could fill the corridors. He closed the door behind himself and looked up, expecting to be alone. He wasn't.

Slowly, the girl sitting in the back corner of the class, near the window, tore her eyes away from the book in front of her. He just stood still, momentarily stunned. After sitting in silence for almost an hour, Jieun put down her pad, stretching and looking around. She looked curiously at the back of her partner's sketchbook.

Jiyong glanced up, seeing her head turned towards him out of the corner of his eye. He blushed under her gaze.
