You slowly opened the window in your bedroom praying your sister had fallen asleep. You felt bad going behind your families back and meeting with Bang Yongguk but they didn't know him like you did. They didn't like him because he was Korean and you were Italian. They were old fashioned people that wanted you to marry an Italian. So to please them you never told anyone that you were dating him. The only person who knew about this secret love was your Korean best friend Bom who introduced the two of you. 

Flashback 

"I'm sorry you had to come to my family reunion with me." Bom said hugging you. You both were sitting on a park bench bored out of your minds. 

"You know I would do anything for you!" You said hugging her back. Most of her cousins were younger than her. The ones older than her were married. You both were only 20. All her little cousins ran around screaming and laughing playing tag. 

"Yongguk said he would come remember my aunts son?" 

"The one you always tell me about?" You heard so many amazing stories about him. 

"Yes!" She said with the biggest smile on her face. Her and Yongguk were very close. But since he lived in South Korea you never met him. Now that he's 24 he decided to move to California with Bom. 

"BOM!" You heard a deep voice call out. You both turned around a saw a very cute Korean boy walk up to you guys. You froze because of how good looking he was. Bom jumped up and hugged him like crazy. They started speaking in Korean and you just sat there just watching them with a smile on your face. Bom never told you how good looking he was. The only picture she showed you was a picture of when they were little. Since she was an only child he was like her older brother. 

"This is my best friend (YN)"  Bom pointed at you and you broke away from your trance. He looked at you and smiled with a gummy smile. You felt her heart beat increase. 

"Hey (YN)! I'm Yongguk. I've heard so much about you!" he said extending his hand to you. 

"I've heard so much about you too!" You smiled and shook his hand.
