Taeil frowned as he poured another drink for the tall, fidgety man perched at the bar. The first time Taeil had first seen him, he’d been escaping, red-faced, from the group of coworkers he had come with—since then, he had become a regular, showing up right on time every Friday night when the club opened.

He wasn’t sure why, though, because the guy hadn’t once in all of his visits turned around to watch the women dancing on stage, instead sitting quietly and ordering drink after drink until he started blubbering nonsense in his too-deep voice about how cute the short bartender was and Taeil was forced to cut him off and call him a taxi.
