Piece of cake
Another Shot“Good morning” Jiyoon said and stretched her arms. She was still tired but felt rested and while she was rubbing her eyes, Chorong poured her a glass of orange juice.
It smelled like toast and freshly brewed coffee when she sat down at the table.
“Do you have hot chocolate?”
“Sure, serve yourself” Chorong pointed at her coffee machine.
“That thing looks like it came straight from NASA. I am not gonna touch that.”
“Okay- You seem a little grumpy.. maybe a hot chocolate with a shot of espresso?”
Chorong walked to the coffee machine and it didn't take a minute for her to return with a cup and a can of whipped cream.
Jiyoon was buttering her toast when Chorong asked
“So how fit are you?”
“What do you mean?” Jiyoon raised her brows
“It's been a while since our last operation.“
“I'm in pretty good shape and I could use a challenge... What do you need?”
“I need you to break into a building”
“Okay.”
“It's 27 stories high... maybe 40”
That caught Jiyoon’s interest and her eyes lit up.
“Niceee”
“Alright. Finish breakfast and I will take you to work.”
Chorong dropped Jiyoon off.
“I can pick you up after”
“No need to. I can ask a friend to pick me up. Thanks for letting me crash”
“Alright. See you at the exhibition.”
She liked being friends with Chorong. She was different from the rich people she already met.
When she arrived at the counter, Lydia looked up from her papers and smiled at Jiyoon.
“A secret admirer left you a present”
Jiyoon opened the card and had to roll her eyes.
I must have dozed off while your magic hands were working my back. I am feeling much better now-
maybe I can invite you to one of my cruising yachts these days. Here is a little something for doing your job so well.
It was a picture of that douchebag with his yacht in the background. He was smiling like there was no tomorrow and she wished she could have punched all his (perfectly bleached) teeth out of that face and sent them into space.
She had Chorong on speed dial and it didn't take long until Chorong p
