Chapter 16 

“Jackson...” I whisper. 

“Am sorry, young miss. I try to stop him.” Ja Hye said as she rush toward the kitchen entrance. 

“Okay, you can go back.” I said turning back to face him. 

“Yooara!” Jackson came forward with open arm but I dodge it. 

“Yay, it wouldn’t hurt to give your own cousin a hug.” Jackson pout seeing me standing on the other side of the counter. 

“Pft, What cousin? All I see is just an in front of me.” I shake my head. 

“You should leave while you still can or else-“ I pull out a knife from the drawer and point it straight at him. 

“Hehe, Yooara, calm down a little bit.” The knife got closer toward his neck. 

“Jackson, I think it’s best if we never cross path with each other again. Who knows what will happen?” I warn not drawing the knife from his neck back. 

“Yooara.” I put it closer causing a slight bleed on his neck. 

“Fine. Fine. It’s not like I want to anyway.” Jackson back up a couple of steps. 

“I’ll be back.” Jackson said as he rush out the kitchen toward the front door. 

My timer went off letting me know that they are finish baking in the oven. While shaking my head I reach for the mitten to grab out the tray. I set them on the stove top to cook down while I make the filling for the cream puff and melt chocolate for the top. After making a simple puff pastry filling I fill up the the pipping bag. Then I grab the cooled cream puff to fill up before dipping them into the melted dark chocolate. Finally I set them onto a cooling rack to dry off. I plate a few and took them to my room. After I set down the plate I lay on my bed with my laptop on. 

*knock *knock my eye open to the sound of someone knocking on my door. I rub my eye sliding to the side of my bed to put on my slipper. Then I stand up to go open the door.
