au | dark and wild-inspired drabble

"Yah! Get back here you punk!" 13-year old Jimin hears a voice shout. He sees a short pale boy running from two guys much much larger than him.

He feels himself run behind them, not caring about his mother at the counter who will probably panic if she doesn’t see her baby boy beside her.

He couldn’t care less, he thinks.

He accelerates his pace and soon enough he is hiding behind two trash bins. The pale boy is now cornered in the dark alley and for a moment Jimin is sure he’s going to die.

For the briefest millisecond the boy connects eyes with him. Pale boy raises his brows at him smugly as if saying Jimin is dead wrong.

The boy twists and kicks, and for a short person Jimin didn’t think he’d hit anywhere higher than the Large guy’s hips. But, he really is dead wrong. Pale boy’s foot hit the Large guy’s jaw, effectively knocking him to the side.

Jimin almost stands up, that he manages to stop, but not the way his hands automatically clapped and bangs at the trash bin.

The two large boys are too busy shouting curses and just being flat out noisy; they didn’t hear the commotion Jimin just did and how Pale boy whistles at him and shoos Jimin away.

But Jimin is stubborn and holds his ground. He shakes his head at Pale boy.
