Sorry for not updating in so long :( Remaining chapters are probs going to be rushed because I just want to finish and get this over with T^T Because I feel unsatisfied leaving this incomplete. SORRY

 

 

Twenty Three

"Class is over, kids," the teacher announced as she aligned some sheets on the desk.   It was finally the end of the day. The classroom instantly became louder as students rushed to gather their materials, eager to escape school. Eunji sighed in relief and sleepily rose to her feet. The boy behind her stared at her back, his body draped over his chair. His heart felt heavy. His gaze moved from her back to the crumpled letter in his desk. He knew what it meant, what Yuri was going to ask.    "Will you be my boyfriend?" or, "Will you go out with me?"   He had read and heard those lines too many times. Eunji and the majority of the class headed out the room, leaving him and a few others lounging around. He turned and realized Yuri remained in her seat, looking at him expectantly. Her eyes widened in surprise when he caught her gaze. She smiled and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. Luhan grabbed the letter and stood from his seat. It only took a few strides to reach Yuri. He threw the letter at her table, causing her to flinch in shock.   "Oppa.." Yuri winced, looking up with wide, teary eyes.   His lips curled into a smile. "Sure. I'll go out with you."   Yuri gaped. "Really!?!" She jumped up from her seat and threw her arms around the boy. "Thank you!"   Luhan made no effort to return the hug, although he didn't resist either. A few claps were heard from other stunned students. Yuri pulled away and grinned.    "I knew you would say yes," she said. "But you didnt even read my letter. You don't know how much effort I put into it." She stared sadly at the crumpled envelope that had been dumped on her desk.   "Oh well. As long as I said yes, right?" Luhan said. "I gotta go. "    Yuri nodded understandingly as Luhan grabbed his things from the table. "Okay, see you tomorrow!" she squealed.   Luhan only gave a nod before leaving. Yuri smiled widely to herself.     ----------   "Yah you have sighed a million times today, cheer up girl!" Mr Kim in an attempt to cheer the depressed girl up. 
Eunji could only sigh again as she continued to sweep the floor.    "There will always be another boy out there! Perhaps theres one that already likes you now!" he said.   "I know that its not the end." Eunji mumbled. "I know but it wont be the same. And Luhan doesn't even know the whole story!"   "Well then tell him the story!" Mr Kim groaned exasperatedly.    "Its not that easy. I can't even talk to him."   Mr Kim slapped a hand to his forehead. "You'll figure it out."   He was only met by silence.    ------   Eunji stepped into the club, once again met by blaring music and crazy lights. She had just finished her cleaning job in a horrible mood, meaning she definitely wasn't up for a night of drunk old men. But perhaps there was one thing she was looking forward to.   "Eunji!
