That night, Geun Suk was waiting for her.  He knew the hotel she was staying. Since he’s a Korean, it’s easier to associate with other Koreans. He was able to get more info about Shin hye. He was also able to join their group together with his friends. When Shin Hye joined them, she was wearing Shirt and shorts. Again, Geun Suk noticed that she is always sad. When every body was having fun, she excused herself once again. She just took a bottle of Soju and went to the shore. She just sat on the sand and started to drink Soju. Geun Suk joined her. He slumped on the sand and started to talk to her.

“Hey, we didn’t formally introduce ourselves. I am Jang Geun Suk. I’m a tourist. I’m staying for a week only” he said. She smiled at him and said “ I’m Park Shin Hye. We’re here coz my Dad’s working here in the Philippines. I’m in First Year College and taking up Foreign Language Course at the same time, I am majoring in Education. I want to teach when I return to Korea “ she said.

Admittedly, Shin Hye enjoyed talking to him. They were able to finish the soju. Geun Suk asked her “Why are you so quiet all the time? And there’s sadness in your eyes” … Shin Hye was caught off guard with his questions and just smiled at him. “ I’m sorry, I’d rather not talk about it” and then she stood up but drinking  soju started to have an effect on her. She wasn’t able to control her balance and she almost fell on the sand. Geun Suk was able to hold her, preventing her from the fall.

“I’m sorry, must have been the soju “ she said. Geun Suk was still holding her and he can’t help it. His face was moving closer to Shin Hye and he gave her a kiss on the cheek. Shin Hye just looked at him. When he felt she didn’t complain, he was about to kiss her in the lips but Shin Hye pushed him. And walk a way from Geun Suk

“Shin Hye, I’m sorry. Please don’t be mad. Blame it on the soju, blame it on the atmosphere and blame it on me because I cannot hold it anymore. I think I like you” he confessed

She just stared at him and left him alone. Like, can I still like others , can I learn to love others? I wonder how he is doing right now. I still miss him but I guess he’s in the arms of other girls right now. It’s still painful but I guess I have to move on.

She spend the remaining days of their vacation with Geun Suk. He promised, no strings attached.  Just being each other’s company. She had fun. As in friendly fun. They did some water sport, Kayak, Jet ski and para sailing. For a moment, she was able to forget him. I ought to give myself some time.

It was her last night in Boracay. She decided to have dinner with Geun Suk. It was nothing formal. Very casual dinner. He said “ I’m going to miss you Shin Hye.
