It was late 2006. Shin Hye just celebrated her 16th birthday. Aside from her celebration at home, Min Ho insisted that they need to celebrate her birthday with him. He prepared a cake , a chocolate cake to be exact. He knows Shin Hye loves sweets and he also prepared balloons and flowers. They have been friends since he can remember. His Dad and Shin Hye’s Dad were friends. They play tennis together and even go on biking during weekends. Shin Hye has an older sister but she is married already and is staying in Busan. From time to time, She visits her Eunnie together with her Mom.

Shin Hye arrived in Min ho’s house. They have a secret place inside his house. Minho converted their basement into their secret hiding place. She went directly to the basement. When She arrived, it was really dark. “Oppa, oppa, I am here. Where are you? Oppa, Don’t scare me.. “ she shouted. Then a single candle light illuminates the dark room. Minho was standing, carrying the cake while singing birthday Song. Shin Hye smiled and cannot believe that Minho was wearing a party hat. He was already 19 and he looks like a dork. Like a kid from elementary school.

She went near Minho and when she was about to blow the candle “ Yah, you should make a wish first “ Min Ho said. Shin Hye closed her eyes and then when she opened them, Minho was staring at her. Shin Hye blew the candle and the lights started to Open. All their friends were there.  Ara was there, Hongki was there and other Kids from their school.

Every one was having a great time. She approached MinHo and she put her arms around him. Then they looked at each other and suddenly it felt awkward. She used to do this to Minho and sometimes or most of the time she will jump on his back for a piggy back ride. But today seems different. Minho noticed it too. “Yah, Oppa, thank you for this surprise “ Shin Hye said, trying to hide everything. “ Any thing for my little sister “ he said. But he doesn’t look convincing when he said sister. Shin Hye smiled at grab his hands. “ Come on, Oppa let’s dance” then they started to dance.

At first, it was a fast song. Every one in the room was having a great time. Then all of a sudden , the music stopped and changed into a slow dance. MinHo at Shin Hye just stood there, wondering whether to just go back to their seats or continue to dance. Minho took a step closer to Shin Hye and started to dance with her.
