"C'mon ChaeJin, just because we're moving it doesn't mean that you can skip school. You're lucky that school near our new home just started, so you can start anew without having to make up any work for the part of the school year you might have missed." JunQ said as he gently shook ChaeJin's shoulder to which ChaeJin only moaned in response.

"Five more minutes, Umma...." ChaeJin said groggily going back to sleep as soon as the word 'Umma' came past his lips.

"You don't have time to ChaeJinnie, you need to start getting ready." JunQ paused knowing that ChaeJin wasn't going to respond to him, but was going to continue sleeping. "If you don't get up I'll pour cold water on you." Again, he paused, seeing as ChaeJin didn't wake up, but snuggle further into his pillow that held a small puddle of drool from the slumbering six year old.

'Hmm...how did Umma manage to wake me up, I used to sleep just like ChaeJin does now! I should be an expert on this! I should know what any heavy sleepers weakness is!'  JunQ thought to himself, silently fuming over his lack of knowledge on this sitiuation. 'Think JunQ! You're supposed to be the all knowing Hyong to ChaeJin!'

Suddenly JunQ got an idea. One that he knew would work for sure!

"Since you don't want to get up, I guess I'll have to finish all of the pancakes all by myself..." JunQ faked a sigh and acted as though he were going to leave.

"WAIT, UMMA!" ChaeJin cried out as he jump out of bed and held onto JunQ's leg as if his life depended on it. "I want some too! I'wl get weady! I swear I wiwl! Just pwease don't eat awl of da pancakes wiffout me! Pwease, Umma!" ChaeJin looked up at JunQ with pleading eyes filled with tears.

"Alright, alright, I won't. Now, let's get you ready for school. I already set your uniform out on your dresser." JunQ pointed to the large dresser across the room from the small, shared bed. "You ready for your first day of first grade?" JunQ questioned with a smile as he pried ChaeJinfrom his leg and started to help ChaeJin into his school uniform, which consisted of a cute navy blue and white sailor shirt with a small red stripe around the collar of the under shirt, navy blue trouser shorts, and white sneakers with red laces that had white aglets and a single white stripe down the center of the laces.

"Yeah! It wiwl be so much fuwn! I just know it wiwl!" ChaeJin exclaimd excitedly as JunQ finished helping ChaeJin with his trouser shorts and continued to dress ChaeJin.

"I bet it will be great." JunQ agreed with his little brother.

Once ChaeJin was all ready JunQ satdown with him in the small dining room. As they ate ChaeJin continued to talk about how great first grade would be or how excited he was to see the teacher and the classroom.

JunQ noticed that ChaeJin never once mentioned how happy he was to meet any of his classmates or become bestfriends with them.

"What about the other kids that will be there? Don't you want to make some friends? It's not healthy to be alone all the time." JunQ said in a 'matter of fact' tone.

"But I'm nawt awone. I have yew, Umma" ChaeJin said as he smiled sweetly.

"Yeah, but you need to have friends that are your age." JunQ said, putting his hand on ChaeJin's shoulder.

"Okay, I wiwl twy to make some fwiends at schoowl today..." ChaeJin said slightly pouting, but still smiling.

"Good, Jinnie. Now," JunQ started as he got up from the table and walks over to ChaeJin's side of the table and took his empty plate to the sink. "We need to hurry up to school. Oh, I will be picking you up by the school gates and we will be walking to our new home, okay?" JunQ told the younger as he cleaned the table of any food that may have fallen from their plates.

"Yeah! Wet's go!" ChaeJin shouted as he grabbed JunQ's hand and his backpack then ran out of the of the condo and towards the school. Somehow JunQ had managed to lock the door to the condo before being dragged off.

"Slow down ChaeJin the walk to the school isn't that long, we don't have to rush!" JunQ exclaimed as he pulled ChaeJin so he would slow down.

InSoo, GunWoo, and GunWoo's little brother, SeYong, had just started out o the ouse towards the elementary school. SeYong was bouncing down the street as energetic as ever, while InSoo and GunWoo laughed at how energetic children were. Soon they arrived at the elementary school gates. As GunWoo and InSoo said their goodbye's to SeYong they noticed an odd pair by the school gates. There was one teen who looked no older than sixteen and one child who looked like he wasn't even supposed to be in preschool let alone elementary.

SeYong had also notice the two and started staring at the child.

"Wow, that girl is so pretty!" SeYong said pointing at the child.

"SeYong, you shouldn't point. It isn't polite" InSoo scolded SeYong.

"And SeYong, I am pretty sure that the kid is a boy not a girl." GunWoo said as he raised his eyebrows and smiled waiting for SeYong to respond.

"Well, than he is pretty." SeYong said crossing his arms and pouting slightly. "You know you two geezers can leave now? I don't need your help. I'm already here and all I have to do is find the first grader's room. I heard that there was only one room for each year because this is a really small school!" SeYong said then looked up at GunWoo. "Do you think that's true, GunWoo-Hyong?"

"I don't think so, but we won't know until we see it." GunWoo said as he started walking towards the door of the school.

SeYong and InSoo followed suit. As InSoo reached for the door handle so did someone else. InSoo's hand ended up on top of the other person's hand.

"O-Oh, I'm sorry!" InSoo quickly said before moving his hand off of the other teen's hand.

Sorry to leave it like that, but I bet you all could tell who it was, right? I'll try to update this again later on today. Thanks for reading. Please review this so I may improve, and I know this says it's rated M but that is for another part of the story and I just wanted to be safe about this. Please understand, this is my first fanfic I've ever posted.

Chapter 11: Interesting story overall. It's not typical and I rather enjoyed the way you had the setup of JunQ and ChaeJin being brothers; the same thing with GunWoo and SeYong. They make rather adorable siblings any which way you look at it. Poor Insoo being left alone except as a sort of adopted brother. hehe

One of my big questions currently would be, when did their mother die? Maybe I'm being picky about details, but usually, if neither of the children are 'adults,' they tend to go to a close relative. I also felt it was strange for ChaeJin to perpetually call JunQ 'Umma.' I mean, he had a mother previously, so shouldn't he still be big brother, unless ChaeJin was just an infant at the time, which would bring me back to the first question.

Beyond that, the story moved a little fast and it felt like they all became really close almost immediately. There was lots of blushing and ducking of heads and 'want to see him again' thoughts pretty much right off the bat. It was cute, but it felt a little forced. haha Moving on, I think the idea was nice though. Having JunQ meet InSoo and all that made for a good pairing and there was a lot of ground to build on between them. The fluffy bits of SeYong and ChaeJin were stupidly adorable and almost ridiculous in their extremes but some kids are like that. lol

I'm inclined to like the alternate ending more, not just because it's less depressing, but because it makes more sense in my head. I'll get to that in a second. You could certainly build a sequel off of either but I would recommend slowing things down and taking your time more. You don't have to power through the story in as short a space of time as possible. Let the characters grow and develop a bit. Feel free to give us more insight from their perspective too. Your inserts are humorous at times, but they do somewhat detract from the focus of the story.
