Eli is 19 in this story

Imani will be 18 in 2 months.

It had been a good 3 months since I told Eli that I loved him. We were still pretty strong in our relationship and Xander and Kalea had been dating for 2 1/2 months. Everything was going perfectly. Until we got to Japan.

Eli and I were in our room talking. Yes, I said our room. About a month ago, we started sharing a room. The other memebers weren't worried that he'd get me pregnant so they just left us alone. 

"But the name Ivory is really cute!" I said before eating a peice of chocolate. The sun was setting outside our window. Snow covered the world outside our window and Christmas lights shone from all around. 

"My daughter's name won't be Ivory!" Eli said. 

"We aren't even married! You don't get any say in the naming matter until we are married and actually get pregnant."

"So you're saying that we are getting married?" Eli said with a cocky smirk. 

"I didn't say that! I just used you as an example" I said before flicking his forehead. He laughed and kissed my cheek. I gave him a little glare before cliimbing off the bed. I was on my way to the bathroom when there was a knock on the door. I stopped and looked through. Manager Kim was standing there with an adorable little girl next to him. I swung open the door and smiled. My smile shrank when I saw how upset he looked. 

"Is everything okay?" I asked before stepping aside to allow them in the room. Eli came around the corner and looked at the scene. The little girl looked at him and smiled.

"Daddy!" she cried, before running over to him. She stopped in front of him and just smiled. 

"Kate died two weeks ago, she only told one person who her father was and they set out to find you." Manager Kim said. "Her final wish was that you would rasie her. We will talk later, just get to know her." he said before leaving.

"Daddy! Daddy!" she said, pulling on him arm. "My birthday was yesterday. I'm 3! But mommy wasn't here. Grandma told me she is in heaven with the angels." 

"I thought you were 15 when you guys sleep together." I said softly in korean. I smiled at the little girl and she grinned right back at me.

"I was, but I was like a week away from my birthday. So it makes sense. It was about 3 years ago. And her birthday is in Dec... it would have to be. nine months from March...  its lining up." he said before sitting on the couch. The little girl, sensing the atmosphere changed, climbed up and sat next to Eli. 

"Are you mad because of me?" she said.

"Whats your name?" Eli asked softly. 

"Mercy!'

"And I'm not mad at you Mercy, just very surpirsed. Umm this is your new mommy, Her name is Imani and she's really really nice and fun. You're going to play with her while I talk to my boss okay." He said as he stood up. He walked over to me and pulled me towards the door. 

"Just play with her please. I really can't process this right now." he said before kissing my cheek.

"Do I tell her we are married?" I asked. He nodded and walking out the room. I turned around and walked back to Mercy. 

"Okay! Imani you're pretty! Am I supposed to call you that? Or do I have to call you mommy! Cuz since you're married to my daddy! Right?" she asked. 

"Umm, yeah I'm married to your daddy, and you can call me Imani or mommy. Whichever makes you happy. You want to make cookies?" I asked before crouching down to her height.

"Yes mommy! I want to call you that, because you're already nicer than my mommy." 

I just smiled and wondered what a four year old considred nice and mean.

"What did you do to your arm? You have a boo-boo!" 

"I fell down a long time ago."

ELI POV
 

"Did you know about Mercy?" Manager asked me. 

I shook my head. "Her mom and I dated before I was a trainee and we broke up a few weeks after we slept together. She never sent me anything that told me she had Mercy." 

"The best thing to do is pretend that you and Imani are married and Mercy is adopted." Manager said.

"I can't do that, the CEO will fire her and who knows what else to her." I said, thinking back to the threat he gave Kibum when he got caught drinking. Even though he was legally able to. "I don't know what to do."

"I'll deal with him. Just do what's best for Mercy." he said. "I'll talk to CEO. Go back to your family." 

Manager just got up and left. I sat there for about an hour. My family. I have a family now. I got up and walked down to the bar. 

"Hi, can I have a bottle of absolut acai berry."  I asked in Japanese

"That's some strong stuff sir." The bartender said as he readhed under his counter and handed me the bottle. 

"My girl and I are having a party. A few friends wanted some drinks." I said pulling out my wallet. Here in Japan, not many boys reconized UKISS. More girls than anything and I hadn't seen any fans since our first concert yesterday. I gave him my ID and the money. Once he gave me my ID back, I went back up to my room. I opened the door and shut it quietly. The TV was going softly in the background. Imani and Mercy were asleep in the bed that Imani and I shared and Mercy was tucked into Imani. 

I went to the kitchen and grabbed a small glass out the cabinet. I poured a little bit in the glass and threw it back. It stung like hell going down but felt like summer once it hit my stomach. I looked at the glass and tossed it into the sink. I heard the sound of breaking glass and shrugged it off. I picked up the bottle and just started chugging from the bottle. By the time I was halfway done, my mouth was numb and my mind cloudy, I took one more small sip and slammed the bottle on the counter. 

I slid off my chair and stumbled towards my room. 

IMANI POV

After playing with Mercy and baking cookies, we were both crazy tired. Which is why I'm surprised I'm awake right now. I was about to roll over and try to go back to sleep when I heard the sound of someone walking around. I climbed out the bed, thinking that maybe Eli would want to talk for a second before he went to bed. I opened the door and walked into the living room to be met with a very drunk Eli. 

"Hey baby!" he said before trying to hug me. I put my hand out. 

"What is wrong with you? Why did you drink?" I said before leading him back to the kitchen. "You need to go throw up." 

"No! I don't want to feel better. I want to be drunk." he said, his words slurring and his voice going deeper and higher on certain words. 

"No, you will go get rid of all the mess that you have in you, and then you are going to sit your drunk down and talk to me."

"Fine, don't be a meanie." he said before stumbling to the bathroom. "How do I vomit?" he said before laughing loudly. 

"Shut up! Mercy is asleep!" I said before covering his mouth. "Shove your finger down your throat." 

Eli walked over to the toilet and poked his finger down his throat. He gagged a little and then moved his hand. "I don't like the way that feels." 

"Eli you need to." I said, slowly losing my patience. 

"Fine," he said before shoving his finger back down his throat. Suddenly his body lurched and he moved his hand just in time. He started throwing up. 

He puked for about 2 more mintues before he started dry heaving. He coughed a little and then slumped next to the toilet. 

"What the did I drink?" he asked a tad more sober but still pretty drunk.

"Please learn to censor yourself." I said before helping him up. He rinsed his mouth and brushed his teeth. While he was rinsing, I went to make him some coffee. I put the cup on the counter and waited until he walked out the bathroom drinking a cup of water

He took a sip and took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. I know drinking isn't the smart thing to do, but that's all I could think about at the moment. Imani I don't know how to deal with this. I mean I can't be a dad. I'm not even an adult in a sense. I can't." 

"You can, you just aren't ready to. I'll help. I promise that I will be there for every step. You know that I love you." I said while he took a long drink of coffee.

"I'm sorry." he said, his voice warbling. "I can't do it babe. I can't raise her."

"I was right! You are mad at me!" Mercy said, her childlike voice tainted with tears and sadness. 

"No, I- come here baby girl." Eli said before getting up, clearly more sober than a few minutes ago. 

Mercy walked slowly over to me and climbed up in my lap. "I'll sit with mommy, she isn't mad at me!" she said, wiping away a few tears. 

"But I'm not mad. I promise." he said before crouching down to face her. "I love you so much, you are a part of me, whether I knew it for the first few years of your life. I'm your daddy and I'll act like one. It's just that I don't know how to be a daddy yet." 

Mercy smiled and scooted forward and reached out to him. Eli picked her up and she wrapped her little arms around him. "Even though your shirt smells yucky right now, I love you a lot! Cuz you're my daddy!" she said. I hid a giggle and smiled up at him. 

"You two need each other." I said softly in Korean. Eli nodded and whispered something to her. She nodded and he walked over to our room and I heard him tucking her in. I turned off the TV and cleaned up the kitchen a little. I found a broken glass in the sink and sighed. 

He came around the corner, "She's asleep already." 

"Yeah she's a good sleeper, that's definitely what she got from you." I said before bumping his hip with mine.

He bumped me back, "yeah I believe it." he said before laughing a bit. I followed him to our room and climbed into bed. Mercy moved closer to me in her sleep and cuddled into me. Eli spooned me and he reached over me to hold Mercy. I smiled.

"You're going to be a great daddy. I know it." I said. I kissed his cheek and went to sleep.
