Eli and I were sitting on the couch in his hotel room flicking through the TV channels. The concert was tonight and I was excited about seeing Kalea again. That girl was too sweet and Xander had the biggest crush on her. If I had anything to do with it, they will be married before next year if over. 

"Wanna watch Full House? It’s a marathon!" Eli said. It was on episode 10. 

"Oh my gosh! I loved this show. It was so funny and the ending made me happy." I said before snuggling into him. It was 2:00 and the boys needed to be at the venue at 7:30 which meant that we could finish the rest of the show. 

“Ya know Rain was such a in this show… I almost didn’t like him in it because he was such a .” I said before reaching for the blanket that was on the other side of Eli. He grabbed my arms and pulled me into him.

“I’ll hold you! That will keep you warm.”

“I personally think you still want that … Never gonna happen.” I looked deep in his eyes. “Ever.”

“I don’t want that. I wouldn’t … hmm whats a good word? … Defile! That’s a good word. I wouldn’t defile you like that. After all you are my adorable little girlfriend who didn’t know what head was.” Eli said before kissing my cheek. The show was playing but much to my dismay we weren’t watching it.

“Cuz I’m all innocent and stuff. Don’t forget you were my first kiss.” I said, still reaching for the blanket, and still being held tightly by my boyfriend.

“Psh. I won’t. That isn’t something that I would forget … I took your lip ity.” He said with a straight face.

I stared at him and started giggling, which turned into laughter. “My lip ity? What?”

“Yes, your lips were pure and unkissed before me.”   

“Unkissed isn’t a word.”

“It is now.” He said before turning me so that I was squished into him and was extremely warm.  “Are you comfy my sweet?”

“I don’t like you.” I mumbled under my breath.

“Yup, because you loooovveee me right?! Huh right?” he said, looking like an overexcited puppy.

“Sure. I’ll let you believe that.”

“babo goyang-i.” Eli mumbled.

“Did you really just call me a dumb cat?”

“Ooh look, over near the kitchen.” He said ignoring me.

I turned my head and then felt a kiss on the back of my neck. “I like you a lot.” Was all he said before turning back to watch the show. I turned around slowly and sat there watching him, extremely unsure about how I felt at that very moment. I mean, this was my first relationship and I’m sure he knew what love felt like. The only love I know is a family type love and I know that is way different than loving a boyfriend. Soon the ending song was on and I realized that I had missed the rest of the episode.

“Want some BiBim-Bap? I feel like making some.” He said, as he got up from the couch. I turned around and sat up on my knees. He was pulling random pots and pan out from the cabinets.

 “Is there a reason that your hotel room has things for cooking and no one else does?” I said before standing up and stretching a bit.

“Most likely because they know I like to cook and because my dad is a chef and all that jazz.”

“Ha! Oh haha you said all that jazz. I told you that you would start saying it because of me!” I said before running over to him. I got the kitchen and slipped. I tried to stop the fall but my arm gave out and I fell flat on my . My shoulder popped really hard and my skin felt really tight around that area. I groaned and rolled over to my stomach. Eli crouched down next to me, holding in a laugh.

“Are you okay? You fell really hard.” Eli said before helping me up.

I leaned into him and sighed. “Do you have any ice? My hurts a lot.” The laugh that he was holding in stopped and he stared at me. I turned towards the stove and turned it off.

“That’s not what I asked. Imani are you ok?” he said before facing me. He stared at me and rubbed my back.

“Yeah. I think so… but my hurts and so does my shoulder. But I’ll be fine. Just help me up.” He reached for my arm and pulled it to help me up when I screamed.

“Oh .” Eli mumbled.

“ELI! Don’t cuss!” I said before slapping his chest with my good arm.   

“Oh okay.” He said before picking me up newlywed style and carrying me into the living room. There was a knock at the door and then Kevin and SooHyun burst into the room.

“YAH! What happened to Imani?!” Kevin screamed.

“She slipped.” Eli said while he massaged my arm. When he moved shoulder,I gasped in pain. I shoved my face into his chest and refused to move. No matter how many times her tried to move me back to get back to massaging my arm.

"Why does she look like that?” SooHyun asked. I snuggled deeper into his chest and started to curl up. My shoulder felt like it was on fire.

"Look, she is my girlfriend. I’m taking care of her.” I felt him move his hand from my shoulder and the pain got even worse. I smiled a bit because Eli was really protective of me.

“Oh my gosh, why is she bleeding?” Kevin said. Eli gripped me and yanked me forward, grabbing my shoulder in the process.

"Owww!!" I screamed. 

“Come on we’re going to the hospital.” Eli said before he picked me up again. I cuddled into him and felt my arm go limp.

“Babe, whats wrong with me. I just slipped. Why am I bleeding?” I said, getting kinda scared. I hated hospitals and the fact that I was about to go to one made my heart beat speed up.

“Imani. You need to calm down.” Kevin said. “I think it’s a pretty big cut and if your heart beat goes faster you’ll lose more blood.”

I nodded and felt myself go into a dreamlike state. It felt like only a total of 2 minutes since I was in Eli’s arms into the hotel room to a gurney in the hospital Emergency room.

I glanced over at the clock as the doctor was stitching up my shoulder and went back to looking at Eli who was trying to keep me from running away from the doctor. Apparently when I fell, I broke my shoulder and the broken bone ripped the skin. Yeah it was not a pretty sight.  I looked over at the guys and then back at the clock again.

“You guys need to be at the venue  for at least 50 minutes before the concert!” I said. The doctor finished up and gave me a huge lollipop. “Come on let’s go!” I said, trying to get up out of the bed.

“Um miss you can’t do anything that is remotely strenuous for a long time. So please be careful. You will need a checkup before you guys leave for the next country and I will send your records to that hospital.” The doctor said before giving Xander the discharge papers. A few minutes later I was being forced into a wheelchair and was rolling down the hall to the elevator.

Once we were on the elevator, the nurse pushing me turned to Eli and flipped her hair really y like.

“So, you have a concert tonight? What are you doing after?” she said before she leaned in to him a bit. I glared at the back of her shiny head and reached up with my non broken arm to yank her flippy hair when Kevin popped my thigh.

He shook his head no and then pointed to Eli, who was backing away from her. “I’m going to hang out with my girlfriend. She’s gorgeous ya know.”

“No I don’t and I’m sure she won’t know.”

“No it’s cool, I like her and you’re not that pretty.” Eli said before kissing the top of my head. “Isn’t she beautiful.” He said right as the elevator door opened.

“Yeah she is stunning.” The nurse said with a very aggravated expression on her face. As we walked out I heard Micha say that Eli was kidding and that I’m not really his girlfriend.

Once we got in the van and started to drive did I mention it to Micha.

"Why did you say that?” I asked.

“Would you rather get fired and he gets kicked out the group because she tells someone you are dating or would you rather lie to the bimbo?” Micha said before calling me a dumb bunny under her breath in Korean.

I stuck my tongue out and cuddled into Eli. “What are you gonna do when I’m in school?”

“Oh you aren’t going to school. I convinced the boss to let Xander tutor you guys.”

“Oh that’s cool.” I said before shifting a bit so my arm was more comfy… well as comfy as a limb can be in a 3 pound cast that went from your shoulder to your thumb. “Wait… why?”

“You’d have to miss some travel days because of school.”  He said as the van pulled up to the back entrance of the concert building.

“Oh okay… and you know I LOVE to travel.” I said as I climbed out the van. The pain medicine they had me on was making me slightly woozy.

“Is anyone else dizzy?” I asked before swaying a bit. Eli grabbed me and led me to the door that took them backstage.  

“No honey. It’s just you.” Kevin said before kissing my forehead and going to hair and make-up. Every U-KISS member, save Eli walked pass and kissed my forehead. Micha walked pass me and kicked my shin.

“What the heck was that for?!” I screamed. The stage hands that were around us stopped and looked at us. Micha laughed.

“It’s a love kick.” She said before turning to follow the boys. Eli stared at her and chuckled.

“When my cast comes off I’m gonna give you a whole lot of love.” I said before turning to face Eli. “Go to hair and make-up.”

“Are you gonna be okay?” he said as we walked hand and hand to the room.

"Teah, I’m just going to sleep off the medicine and probably ask one of the girls to flat iron my hair when I wake up.” I said. My arm throbbed and the stitches felt like the shot they gave me was wearing off. “Of all things that I could do to myself… I managed to break my shoulder so bad that it rips my skin. This summer is gonna be a long one.”

Eli stopped us and hugged me, turning my broken arm into him and holding me. “Don’t worry. I promise you will have an amazing summer.” He hugged me again and then we finished our trip to the hair and make-up room.

“Hey babe.” Eli said. I looked up at him and stared, trying to ignore the increasing pain.

“Yeah?” I said  squinting at him for no reason at all.

“I have some super powerful medicine in my bag. Just one will have you feeling like brand new. So if you need one just go ahead and use it. Okay?” he said as I sat down on the soft couch. I stretched out and closed my eyes.

"Yup, powerful drugs in bag. Just one. I’m going to sleep.”

I heard him laugh a little and then I felt a kiss on my cheek.
