And again, I acted out of my instinct again

How did I even manage to say those words to her?

But damn that smile….

“yah, DO yah… is something bothering you?” Baekhyun asks

“ani… waeyo?” I asked

“well, it’s very unusual of you to ask for a driver… you only do that when you’re sick… but you don’t look sick at all” Baekhyun reasons out

Baekhyun is right… I don’t usually ask for someone to drive me over to school. It’s either I drive or I just commute… It’s not that I’m sick… I just can’t concentrate

“come on, Kyungsoo… you can’t hide anything from me” Baekhyun nudges me

Ahhhh… I really can’t hide anything from this yapping eyeliner guy

“it’s Taeyeon” I finally said as I heave out a sigh

“what?! What about her dude?!” Baekhyun brightens up

Taeyeon’s POV

Now, I’m sitting all alone in the library…

Alone

Yes, alone

Why?

Apparently, my girlfriends have been taken away

Yes, they are now dating someone

And the one who took them away from me are my dear brothers

“Taeyeonie!!!!” Jess and Tiffany squeals as they made their way to me in the table where I sat in the café where we planned to meet

“Jess, Tiff! What’s with the squealing?” I asked

“well, Jess and I have good news” Tiff announced

“what is it?!” I asked excitingly

“we’re dating your brother!” they both announced in unison

“what?!”

“Yesterday, Jungwoon oppa asked me to be his girlfriend” Jess said

“Jaejoong oppa also asked me to be his girlfriend” Tiffany announced too

“oh my gahd!!!! The two of you are so gross. Why my brothers?!” I jokingly remarked while giggling

“aish… Taeyeonnie…” Jessica whined

“arasso, arasso”

-end of flashback-

I heaved a sigh

I miss them

I envy them too

After Changmin I didn’t date anyone else. It’s like I completely closed my door to boys and the idea of dating that day that we broke up. And now that I’m over him, I can’t help but feel lonely being all by myself. I wonder what Kyungsoo is doing right now

Argh!

I desperately shook my head trying to erase my thoughts of Kyungsoo

Good thing that I don’t have a class with Kyungsoo today

If I had a class with him today, I seriously don’t know how to interact with him. I mean, how could I face him when my heart starts beating like crazy whenever I see him, especially if our eyes meet. It has always been my deed to look directly into the eyes of the person I’m conversing with.

I shook my head

“Taeyeon?” it’s his voice! Omo!

*LUB-DUB-LUB-DUB*

I turned to face the person who called me. It really is him!

“o-oh, k-kyungsoo yah” I greeted awkwardly. Why did he appear when I don’t want to see him?

“y-you’re alone?” he stutters. Eh? Why is he stuttering?

“yeah” I answered looking away from him

“I see” he said as he sat on the chair beside me

“you?” I asked

“ah, yeah. Baekhyun, has a date” he answers as he starts to open the book he was holding

“Baekhyun has a girlfriend?” I asked. He chuckles

“It might not seem like it, but he does. They’ve been together since high school. Her name is Sunny”

“Sunny? Lee Soon-kyu?” I asked. He nods

“do you know her?”

“ah, yeah. She was my classmate in high school. She also tried to set me up on a date with then friend of her boy---“ I stopped talking at my sudden realization. Kyungsoo raised an eyebrow

“hmmm?”

Third person’s POV

“Oh my gosh!” Taeyeon suddenly shouted. Everyone in the library turned to face her

“mianhe” she bowed apologetically

“what is Tae?” Taeyeon blushed when Kyungsoo suddenly called her ‘Tae’

“k-kyungsoo yah, did Baekhyun try to set you up on a b-blind d-date before?”

Kyungsoo nods

“a couple of times. Wae?”

“did he try to set you up with one of Sunny’s friends last year?” Taeyeon asks

“yeah, but the girl didn’t show up because she had a fever after their school play” Taeyeon froze

“well, I was relieved that she didn’t appear because I really wouldn’t go along with it since it will be my first time” Kyungsoo continued

Noticing that the girl in front of him froze with what he just told her, he tried to get her back into her senses by holding her hand. Taeyeon jolted at the boy’s sudden action

“is something wrong Tae?” Kyungsoo asks

“I… I… I was supposed to be your date, Kyungsoo ssi” Taeyeon announced which made Kyungsoo’s eyes to widen
