Kyungsoo’s POV

I am happy that she agreed to go on a date with me.

In my 19 years of existence this has been the first time that I wanted to spend some time with a girl.

Baekhyun said that I probably am in love with her.

I know I like her, but I don’t know up to what extent.

Maybe up to the extent of beating someone who will disrespect her.

Baekhyun was also the one who suggested that I should go on a date to test what I feel for her

-flashback-

“come on, Kyungsoo… you can’t hide anything from me” Baekhyun nudges me

Ahhhh… I really can’t hide anything from this yapping eyeliner guy

“it’s Taeyeon” I finally said as I heave out a sigh

“what?! What about her dude?!” Baekhyun brightens up

“do you know that feeling of wanting to be near someone always? Wanting to hear her voice? I don’t know what’s going on man. But, she constantly slips through my mind” I explained

“ahhhh, that is so simple dude” I furrowed my eyebrow at his remark

“you’re in love” he adds

“in love?” I asked

“yes, head over heels”

“love? I think that’s deep…” I denied

“how about going on a date to find out? If you feel like your heart is going to burst, if you feel like you can get lost in her eyes, when the most beautiful thing you’ll see is her smile… that, that’s the sign that you are in love” he negotiates with me

“I’ll try that” I know I’m straight forward. People say that I can easily ask awkward questions

“oh, one last thing… the ultimate sign, when you say good bye to each other and you just can help but.…” Baekhyun went near to my ear and whispered “have the urge to kiss her” which shocked the hell out of me.

-end of flashback-

Well, right now my heart is racing, as if I ran a kilometer.

Baekhyun’s right

I’m feeling what he told me, now that I’m holding her hand

We rode the cable car.

I secretly took a photo of her while she was looking at the nice view. After arriving, we strolled for awhile. She was still holding my hand. I feel quite shy talking to her today.

Every time our eyes meet I feel as though I’m having a heart attack.

She let go of my hand which somewhat made me a bit sad

 “Kyungsoo, let’s take a photo together” she took out her phone and prepared to take the picture.

She went closer to me.

I placed my hand on her lower back to pull her closer so that we can fit in the picture

“1…2…3… smile!” she signaled

*click!*

“wow, it turned out great” she remarked

“we look good together” I suddenly said.

I feel my blood racing towards my face.

That was so embarrassing

How in the world could I have suddenly said that?!

I noticed that Taeyeon’s ears turned red as she turned away.

“S-s-so shall we go to the viewing deck now?” I nervously asked her, trying to remove the awkward atmosphere between us

She nodded and so we head for the elevator without saying anything

“Wow, this elevator is amazing” she says in amazement with her bright smile

I looked at what she was looking at, and turned to look at her once more

She was still smiling

‘your smile is prettier’ I thought

Oh, damn!

I’m slowly agreeing to Baekhyun

*ting!*

The elevator door opens. We have arrived at viewing deck.

She points the viewing scope.

I nodded and we approached it.

She starts to use the scope and was smiling brightly, looking through it

“DO yah, come over. Look!” she called me over.

It’s the first time she called me DO.

I looked through the scope too, but I didn’t see anything

“I can’t see anything” I complained, moving away from the scope

“look again” she argues and I obliged

“nothing”

“look again"

“I really do-” I complained once more but this time I looked away quicker than I previously did and caught her standing in front of the lens.

“Ah, you caught me!” she exclaims and bursts into a laughter

I smiled

Her laughter is music to my ears

I noticed she stopped laughing and was spacing out.

“Is something wrong Tae?” I asked as I went near her

“a-aniya” she answered and seemed a bit flustered

“you look red, do you have a fever?” I asked

“a-aniya… it’s just hot… how about we grab some drinks?” she suggests. Hot? Really?

Taeyeon’s POV

Oh, gawd!

Why does he need to smile that way?

Now I’m all flustered.

“Tae, here some cold green tea” he hands out the tea

“gomawo”

We decided to continue walking around and do some sight seeing

“you have a very interesting family if I may say Tae” DO suddenly spoke

“you think so?”

“yes… I mean, your parents must be great to raise such kids like you” he remarked

“ohw, yeah… they were great when they were still around”

“still around?”

“ah, I haven’t told you yet… my parents both died in a car crash 3 years ago”

“oh, I’m sorry… I didn’t know” he apologized

“it’s okay… I’m not sad about it, I know they are both guarding us somewhere” I smiled at him

He was staring at me.

“is there something wrong?” I asked

He didn’t answer but instead his face drew closer to mine

*LUB-DUB-LUB-DUB*

I gradually closed my eyes as he drew closer

But then, I heard a chuckle from him which made me open my eyes

“yah… why are you laughing?” I whined

“were you expecting something Tae?” he asks with a wide grin while showing a leaf

“a-a-ani… why are you holding a leaf?” I asked

“this was stuck in your hair” he answers while holding his laughter

“ah…. Why are you laughing?”

“because it seems you were expecting something?” oh good, why is he suddenly this sharp this day? Dammit!

“a-a-aniya… you’re over thinking” I denied

“really? How come your face is red?” he probes

“my face is not red” I argued while turning my head away

I noticed that he was staring at me with a grin

“yah, what are you staring at?... let’s get going” I quickly tried to change the topic from my utter embarrassment while I was walking away to hide my tomato face. But despite what I’ve said he just stood on his spot.

I turned around

“what?”

“you’re really cute Tae” he suddenly said with a smile

“…. I…. I ….. I know that already…” I stammered. Why does he need to say random things?

“you don’t need to say it” I smugly added after regaining my confidence. He chuckled while he went near me

“so where are we going next?”  he asks

“how about the park?” I suggested “I haven’t been there and if I’m not mistaken my friend’s band will be performing there today” I added

He nods

“okay, so shall we?” he offers his hand once more and I gladly took it.

I’m embarrassed to hold his hand but I feel so secured while holding it.

finally, their long awaited date

i'm pretty disappointed with myself

it's so delayed because i'm having a hard time making this chapter fluffy

i'll try harder in next chapter, the second part of their date

and to grant Maizatul97's curiosity I will make a special chapter for Shim Changmin
