I was alone at me apartment when my phone violently vibrated on the table.

“Hello?” I said as I answered my phone. “Amber baby,” A weak voice said.

“Whoa Krystal, are you okay? You sound sick,” I said standing up from the chair.

“I am,” She said and coughed, “Come over please.”

“I’ll be right over right away,” I said and rushed to the market first.

“You took a long time,” She said as she opened her apartment door. I held up a few bags.

“I got you mango ice cream, medicine, and all the necessities you need,” I said, “You, go lay down and let me make you lunch. You didn’t eat did you?”

She shook her head. “What are you going to make?”

“The food that people eat when they’re sick,” I said walking toward the kitchen, “Soup.”

"Hey come on just eat it Soojung-ah," I said holding up the spoon for her. She pouted.

"I lost my appetite," She said sniffling. "But if you want to get better you should eat." Again I held up the spoon. She leaned forward and slurped the soup up little by little. 

I smiled. "Why are you smiling?" She asked looking up at me as she lay back down onto the couch. 

"You're beautiful even if you're sick," I said and sat down next to her, "I love you." She hit my arm and hid her face in the blanket that was wrapped around her body.
