SEQUAL to Chapter 2: Sehun x Amber #1 -- I suggest you read that one before this one :3 (romance)

Sehun rested his chin on the kitchen table, contently staring at the stuffed animal Amber handed him at the end of the SM Concert a few days ago. He couldn't help but feel something for Amber. He wasn't sure if it was her kindness on that day, or if he has always had these lingering feelings for her. But nonetheless he definitely liked her.

"You've been looking at that since the concert last week," Baekhyun said, taking the empty chair next to Sehun.

"So what?" Sehun scoffed.

"Where'd you get it? Or maybe, who gave it to you?" Chen came in, raising a brow.

"It's a secret," Sehun flatly answered.

"It's Amber," Kris said while nonchalantly walking past the boys.

"Yah, Kris!" Sehun shouted, irritated that he ratted him out.

"Shouldn't it be Kris Hyung to you?" Kris rolled his eyes and his informal language. The others laughed, amused at Sehun's sharp tongue towards them.

"Oh, speaking of Amber, she's coming to visit in a few minutes," Kai shouted from the living room. The rest of Exo were spending their free time in the living room playing video games.

"What? But it’s already so late," Sehun questioned.

"We invited her to play video games. She said she was bored at her own dorm," Tao added. Sehun slumped his shoulders, uneasy about seeing the person he liked right after fully realizing that he liked her.

“Since we’re having a guest someone prepare food,” Kyungsoo said.

“One, two, three nose goes!” Chanyeol called out. Everyone immediately pointed their nose except for Sehun who was busy in thought.

“Sehun’s it,” the group finalized, and then returned to their activities.

Sehun sighed, getting up to go to the kitchen. Since he wasn’t in the mood for anything, he grabbed a variety of fruits form the refrigerator and began cutting them up into bite-size pieces.

His thoughts about Amber returned and clouded his mind, making him unaware of his surroundings. He didn’t notice an unknown figure creeping behind him.

Amber sneakily crawled her way along the bottom half of the kitchen island in attempt to surprise the fruit cutting Sehun. As she got closer, she tried to muffle her snickers with her hand. She prepared her hands to tickle his sides.

Amber was only inches away from his sides when she paused when Sehun said, "Don't even think about it. I won't give you any if you do." Amber dropped her hands in defeat.

"No fun," she mumbled grumpily. Sehun smiled to himself at her cute whiny voice. Amber jumped up onto the counter next to Sehun and took a seat.

“What are you making?” She happily asked.

“I’m just cutting fruit,” he answered. He finished cutting a strawberry in half and held it in front of Amber’s mouth. She opened instinctively and let him feed her the fruit.

“Sweet,” she grinned while chewing.

All of a sudden the lights in the whole dorm shut off, leaving the two in complete darkness. Amber leaped off the counter in shock.

Sehun placed the knife down and turned around to stand by Amber. He immediately hooked arms with her. Just to add on to Sehun’s maknae image, he was also afraid of the dark.

“Hey, you guys,” Sehun called out toward the living room but there was no answered. Amber led him out of the kitchen to see the living room empty.

“What the heck, they were here when I came in,” Amber said.

From the kitchen, a loud clanking was heard. The two rushed back and found that pots and pans had fallen onto the tile, but no one was there. Sehun noticeably began to tremble. Along with being afraid of the dark, he hated all things supernatural. And this was definitely playing through his mind as a supernatural moment.

Amber protectively led them to one of the many bedrooms to get them out of the open space in case there was someone else besides them in the dorm. She rushed them inside and quietly clicked the door shut.

In the room, she positioned them to crouch in between the bed and wall to hide them. The darkness of the room helped camouflage their bodies from the human eye.

A few minutes ticked by in silence. Every now and then Sehun’s breathing would hitch every time he’d hear something moving from outside the door.

Amber cautiously scanned the room for anything out of the ordinary. Her eyes landed on the glass sliding door leading out onto the balcony. She saw figures standing out there reflected by the light from the moon.

Amber scoffed at the sight. "Hold up." Amber walked to the sliding door and pushed the curtains to the side to see BaekChen laughing their butts off.

"Haha, very funny dorks." Amber laughed along with them and sliding the door open to let them in.

At that moment the lights switched on and the rest of Exo crowded into the bedroom. They were also having a kick at the couple's frightened expressions from eaier. Sehun slumped down on the edge of the bed, obviously sulking.

"Did you see your face?" Luhan teased the younger.

"Oh please Lu-ge, if it was you, you would've ran out of here by now," Xiumin stood up for Sehun.

"So true!" Kyungsoo agreed.

"It's okay if you were scared because I'm here," Amber reassured him with a grin.

"It's not!" Sehun fumed; he unintentionally turned his embarrassment into anger and directed it towards Amber. Exo felt the awkward tension in the room and one by one left to give the couple some privacy.

Amber frowned at his sudden outburst towards her. “Even if you say it’s not, I still think it’s okay,” she stayed with her initial thoughts.

Sehun exhaled, "I know this sounds cliché, but I want you to see me more than just a dongsaeng and that can’t happen when you’re the one always protecting me."

Amber replayed his words a few times in her mind before her face grew a deep shade of red. "I um I..." she stumbled through her words. Though she wasn’t quite sure what he was getting at, she couldn’t help but feel a little nervous.

Sehun's eyes widened in realization, and then he smirked. "Oh I see, so the only way you aren’t thinking on your feet is when the mood is serious like this.”

“What are you talking about?” Amber’s question was interrupted.

Sehun swiftly cupped Amber's cheek and leaned in for a chaste kiss. Amber quickly pushed his chest to release the kiss and scurried to the corner of the room. Her face was flushed red and she look so innocent having her first kiss taken.

He did it on purpose so that Amber would drop her tough guy act in front of him. And good for him, it was working.

Unlike her usual talkative self, she was completely lost for words. Sehun got up from his seat and stood in front of her, trapping her between him and the wall. "So what I'm trying to say is that I like you Amber." He engulfed her slightly smaller frame into his arms; he mentally thanked his parents for giving him the tall genes in the family.

Amber stiffly allowed Sehun to hug her. So many thoughts were running pass her mind. Since when did he start to like her? What was there to even like about her? She had no idea.

"If you're wondering, I started to like you back in my trainee days, but I didn't accept those feelings until the SM Town concert a few days ago. And I like everything about you: your playfulness, your smile, your kindness, everything."

Amber buried her face into his chest to hide her blushing face. "You're being really gross right now," she managed to joke in order to make the atmosphere less tense for her.

"I know you like my ‘gross’ self," Sehun chuckled.

Outside the door Exo was patiently waiting for the couple to come out of the room.

"I wonder what's taking so long," Tao was sprawled out on the couch.

"They're probably having a deep conversation," Suho answered.

"Or maybe they're getting it on," Chen smacked the table and burst into another round of laughter along with Baekhyun.

"Quiet down you two." Kris went in between the two and shoved a piece of fruit that Sehun cut up ealier into their mouths.

"Yeah yeah, I think I hear the door opening," Lay whispered.

Amber and Sehun walked into the living room. They both looked shy and unsure of things.

"They're holding pinkies!" Chanyeol shouted. Exo's eyes landed on the couple's hands. Their pinkies were laced together as if they were elementary students experiencing their first crush.

"How cute~" Exo cooed and applauded in approval.

Xiumin froze for a second and then face-palmed. "Now we need to have the talk."

A/N: Finally updated the HunBer sequal! The whole time I was writing this I had no idea what was going on XD So I hope it's not confusing. On a side note: Because of Exo's Showtime, BaekChen as become one of my OTPs :3 Anyone else a BaekChen shipper?
