10 days ago. 

I am Kris Wu. 
Kris Wu Yi Fan. 
I worked at the EXO Coffee House down the Seoul District. 
I am 23 years old. 
I have been working for about a year. 
It is just a part-time job to earn some money. 

10 days ago. 
I had a peculiar customer. 

She... 
She is beautiful. 
She has long hair. 
Beautiful eyes. 

But.. her eyes were crying. 
She walked into the cafe with swollen eyes. 
She sat at a corner of the cafe, a seat where no one really sits. 

I normally work the night shift. 
She.. sat there for a long time. 
My shift was 5pm to 10pm. 
She sat from 6.30pm to closing. 
She didn't order anything. 

I walked towards her, and requested politely, 
" Miss... We're closing. " 
She looked up, flustered, she immediately hide her eyes and hurriedly left. 

I watched her back left the cafe. 
She never once looked back. 
She never once stopped, to look back. 

I looked down at the table. 
There was a necklace. 
A beautiful one. 
It had a heart shaped locket. 

I took the necklace and kept it in my coat pocket. 
Perhaps, I'll meet her again. 
I cleaned up the store and left. 
But not a single time on my way home has my mind stopped thinking about her. 


8 days ago. 

I didn't came for work yesterday. 
I wonder if she was here last night. 

Not that I want to meet her, just.. 
I could.. I could pass her the necklace.

I hope she comes today. 

While, serving probably the twentieth customer for the night, 

" Thankyou, please enjoy your coffee. Please come again. " 
I smiled. 
That female was probably grinning too. 

I glanced at the clock. 
630 pm. 
As if on cue, I heard the bell that hung by the door rang. 
I turned around, and saw her slowly walking to that seat. 

She sat down at the same seat. 
She wasn't crying hard. 
But her tears did not stop falling. 

My heart ached. 
I ... don't know why. 
Maybe.. Maybe... 
Yes yes, her necklace. 
I immediately felt for the necklace in my pocket.
Yes, its here..  
I,,, was getting nervous. 

"Urms... " I asked cautiously

I know how some girls do not like people to see them cry. 
I didn't want her to feel uncomfortable with me invading her privacy...

She was flustered when she heard me speak, she hurriedly wiped her tears.

I was really like Rudolph.

" Kris, Are you feeling better? " My co-worker, LuHan asked. 
I smiled and joked, " Better than you, you this deer boy! " 
He got so worked up (The part in Exo Showtime when Suho says Luhan's distinct features is he looks like a girl. )
"Yah Yah.. No... You .. You.. this Rudolph. " 

It was nice to bicker with this hyung... 
Hehehehes...

The bell that hung over the door rang. 
My ears pricked up.. 
Is it her? 

No.. 
Damn. 

That had happened for many times. 

My ears becomes sensitive to the sound
Every time the familar sounds of the bell rang,
I would stopped to see if she has arrived. 


But... she never did came. 

I patted the necklace that has been in my pocket for the past six days and sighed. 

I want to see her ... 
I hung a slight frown. 

" Yah, don't frown when you're working!" Suho reminded. 
I cheekily frowned even harder at him, " I'm the cold guy!" 
He smacked my back. 
We ended up laughing. 

I really love working here. 

That day, work ended. 
She never once came in.

I can't help but feel... a little.. just a little.. sad. 
I am not looking forward to see her cry. 
But.. I think I kind of miss staring at her during work. 

I chewed my lower lips, stuffed my hands into my jacket and made my way home. 

Mysterious girl, I hope you cheer up soon. 
Maybe,, the next time when we meet, I hope you'll smile. 

Maybe, I chuckled, " I can be the one to make you smile... " 
I was bubbly with glee at that thought...

I am finally back at work.

The bell rang.

I couldn't concentrate at work.

She is really beautiful. 
She wore a turquoise blouse.

I was nervous. 
I made sure voice didn't croaked. 

She smiled. 
Her eyes were still slightly puffy.

Here's some Hot Cocoa. " 

She looks surprised. 
"I... I.. didn't... " 

" My treat.. " I smiled.
The most charming smile I could pull off.

I was trying my utmost willpower to not jump around the store.

She nodded and gestured me to go ahead and take a seat. 

I hope she didn't notice the beads of perspiration that was forming. 
And how sweaty my palms are.. 

Talk Kris, you have to talk..

I dug for the necklace and place it in front of her like it was the most delicate jewellery. 

I caught it, 
I saw the pained expression that flashed across her eyes. 

I bit my lips, 
Oh no..

" Thank you. " 
Her voice tells me nothing. 

I tried to lighten up the atmosphere. 

" Try my Hot Cocoa. I'm the best among my colleague!" I winked. 

She laughed.

She took a sip and smiled immediately. 
Her eyes widen. 
" Wow... " she didn't finished as she stared at the hot cocoa. 

I couldn't help but feel a swell of glee. 
I bit my lips,... 

She looked into my eyes. 

" Thankyou.. " she stared at my name tag, " Kris. " 

Okay.. 
My heart stopped. 
How can my name sounds so beautiful from ? 

I was flustered. 
Be cool... 

" No.. Thankyou. " 
She looks puzzled. 
" I'd never thought I would ever met someone so beautiful. " 

Oh... did you just... 

She blushed. 
Ohmygosh, how cute... 
SHE IS BLUSHING AT MY WORDS. 

She grinned. 
" Do you always go around giving free Hot Cocoa to girls? " 

I  looked firmly in her eyes, I was searching.. searching for her attention on me, 
I smiled warmly. 
" No.. " 
I brought my hands together. 
" You're the first. " 


That day. 
I made friends with her. 
Maybe one day we will be more than friends. 

But.. that necklace was left forgetten. 
But.. it didn't matter anymore. 
What matter was that I managed to make her smile. 
I never got to see her cry anymore.
I like that fact.  

"Kris.. " She called out. 

I hummed. 
We were taking a stroll after my work. 

"Thankyou. " 
I looked at her, she was staring at me. 

She looks hesistant.

hugged me.

I hugged her back.

I will try... I am so exhausted from prom yesterday T.T
