3rd of December. 22 days to Christmas. 

Christmas Sweater

The sun was setting. 
You know it. 
The frost was coming. 
Damn. 


Why... 

WHY did you left on your own? 

Studies.. well, your own experience have shown that you are that one person that can absolutely never find your way back. 
Why did you leave to explore the wilderness? 

Though you do know the reason, 
You were a city girl, and your family has brought you to the countryside as a treat since the holidays is coming. 
You...were excited at the sudden change in environment .. 

And.. want to "film your own drama" and experience stuff that city life can never experience. 

Just, that's the point. 
You're a city girl. 

You groan for the umpteen time, 
And cursed yourself for the millionth time, 
And check your phone for the thousandth time. 

No Signal. 

Very Good. 

You tried to push out the coldness in you by exhaling the cold,
And rubbed your shoulders to keep warm. 

And the next smartest thing you did before this situation happened, 
Was to assume that the weather would not get any colder. 
You're only wearing a single long sleeves shirt, barely any long john inside. 

You groaned. 

Your mind was flying from place to place, 
Trying to recall all the variety show you've watched, 
Maybe.. some survival show.. like " I shouldn't be alive".. 

Damn.. the title is.. so not helping in this situation. 

You rubbed both of your hands together again. 
The cold is creeping in, and it seems to get darker. 

Your mind and your heart was burning.. 
But your whole body is freezing... 

Maybe.. 
Maybe you should call for help!
That's it! 


" HELP!!!!" 
You gave a first scream. 

Wow, that took a lot of energy,... and warmth. 
Your lungs was immediately cold from inhaling the frozen air. 

No.. you've got to try again. 

"HELPPPPPPPPPP! " 
You catch your breath. 
Small intakes of air, 
But your lungs was really cold at that moment. 

Should you shout again? 
"HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP! SOMEONE PLEASEEE HELPPPPPPPPP!" 

Your head had a shot of piercing pain. 
Your mind went dizzy. 
You passed out. 
You passed out!



"Wake up... " 

It was a soft voice. 
It sounds like you're dreaming. 

" Wake up... " 
You groaned.. 
No... 

" Wake up... " this time, along with the voice, someone was shaking you. 

" MUM... five more minutes... " you replied back groggily. 

Someone chuckled. 
A-Actually it was a guy. 
You're the only child. 
It doesn't sounds like your dad. 
You're in the wilderness.. 
And you heard a guy's voice... 

ARE YOU DEAD? 

Your eyes immediately opened at that thought, 
While, maybe your reflex took control and made your back spring up. 
You immediately regretted because you pulled a back muscle. 
You groaned as your rubbed that spot. 

Someone chuckled again. 
You recalled, was it a dream? 

You looked around. 
A dashing young man was squatting beside you. 

Smiling. 

You found yourself blushing. 

He bit his lips and ... looked at you. 
You start to feel self- concious,... 
Wait, who is he..? 

" Ah... Urm.. Who are you? " 
That young boy smiled, he was probably the same age as you. 
Or maybe older. 
Whatever it is, he is definitely handsome. 

"Kim Jong In. " he continued as he brought out his hand, " You can call me Kai. "  
You smiled, and shook his hand. 

A sudden wind gushed and your hairs all stood up.
 

You immediately responded by hugging yourself and curling into a ball. 
You found yourself shivering. 

" Hey.. Are you okay? You.. don't have any coat with you? " 
Your teeth was chattering. 
Yes, you're still stuck in the cold, 
The wilderness. 
At least you're with a cute guy. 

You shook your head. 
"I-I-I... am L-L..ost! " 

The next thing that happened was probably the most heroic and dramatic thing that has ever happened in your life. 
He took out his sweater. 
That boy, took out his sweater in front of you. 
And helped you wore it. 
You were shivering so badly, you had to comply with his actions, in fact you can't wear the sweater without him. 

He hugged you. 
He was only wearing a thin fabric, 
But he felt so warm. 

He seems embarrassed, 
" Urms.. I'm just hugging you so you'll be warmer before we find our way back. " He coughed a little. 
But.. you didn't mind at all. 

His sweater. 
It held his scent. 
It tingled your nose. 
Excited your senses. 
It has been so long since a guy has hugged you. 
About three years since that jerk has dumped you. 
You willingly embraced him back. 

And as an excuse, " Urm... " you feigned chattering, " I-I-I am st-ill col-d-d.. " 

He was probably smiling. 
He hugged you tighter. 
While rhythmically rubbing your back, generating some heat. 

You suppress that giggle in you. 

That hug probably took a little longer than necessary. 
But you absolutely loved every second of it. 

He finally broke free of the hug. 
You tried to hide that pout that comes with your regretful feeling that the hug has ended. 

He looked warmly into your eyes, 
"Do you know where you stay? " 

You thought for a while, " Honestly.. I can't quite remember the name. But I remember seeing a Wolf Logo when I enter the cabin. " 
He chuckled, and nodded. 
"Urms... I remember my cabin has a red roof... " 
He nodded again. 
" I know where that is, Come on.. " He held your hand. 


HE HELD YOUR HAND! 

His hand is as warm as his hug, and probably his hug.
His fingers were slender.
He didn't just held your hand.
He had interlaced with it.  

The skies was close to pitch black, but the moonlight gave a little glow at everything around you. 

Actually you were kind of afraid. 
You have night blindness. 

You tripped over a tree root and fell into his embrace. 
"Are you okay? " he asked with concern. 

You nodded, " Urms... Yeah. .. I have..urm..  night blindnes... 
I can't see anything.. " 

He was probably thinking. 
It was silent. 
You panicked. 

" Jong In-sshi? Jong In..!??" 
He chuckled, " I'm still here," he held your hand more firmly. 

" How about this, I'll carry you on my back? I can see in the night pretty well.
And I've work-ou-... and I'm pretty strong... Urms.. I ... " 
You just gave a soft giggle and agreed. 

He guided you to his back. 
You start to feel concious of your weight. 

" Urm.. Jong-In-sshi... If I'm too heavy.. urm.. " 
He chuckled as he stretched his legs upwards, and you're on his back, feets dangling in the air. 
" No, not at all... Did you eat at all?? Why are you so light? " 
You blushed. 
You're pretty sure he wouldn't see anyways, it so dark. 
 

Silence for a while. 

"Jong In-sshi? " 
He hummed. 
"Why were you out here in the wild? " 
"I live here. " 
He paused. 
you nodded. 
"I hike every evening. " 
He finished his reply. 

" You? " 
" I came here for the holidays, We'll be staying here till Christmas. And... I was excited at the sight of wilderness. So.. I.. " 
you voice grew softer. 

He chuckled, " So you got lost after exploring? " 
You nodded. 

You were also taking notice of his scent. 
How charming his jawlines were, the moonlight did him justice. 

"Oh.. what's your name? " 
"Ji Eun. Jo Ji Eun. " 
" That's a pretty name. " 
You blushed. 

"Ji Eun-ah, how about I bring you around tomorrow? " 
He paused. 
" I know the area really well.. and you won't get lost.. and... " 
You hugged him tighter and whispered into his ear. 
" Yes please. " 
You swear that you felt his muscles tensed. 


Finally both of you reached your house. 

He stopped at the front of your house and put you down gently. 
You just realised how tall he is, and how charming he is. 
The night hasn't shown much of his features. 
Your breath was held. 
You... were staring for a long time. 

He, embarrassed, looked down. 
" Urm.. Ji Eun ah... You need to.. urm.. breathe. " 

You blushed. 
" Ah... Ah... " 
Suddenly your body flipped the system into stupid mode. 

You were rubbing your left shoulder with your right hand awkwardly. 

He broke the silence. 
" I'll come here at 8 in the morning? " 
He smiled. 

His smile... 
Your brain gets a little dizzy. 


"Yeah.. " you gulped, " That would be nice. " 
He smiled. 
He took a step back. 
" Sleep tight " 

He left. 
Your gaze only stop when you can't see him anymore. 

You went into your house, dreamy. 

" Ji Eun! Ji Eun! Are you okay?? " Your mum comes rushing at the sight of you.. 
"Yeah... " you dreamily replied. 
"I'm... okay ... " 

She stared at you.. 
" Why... Why are you like this? " 

You giggled, " Nothing.. " 

You went to your room.
 
You took a shower and took out his sweater. 
You cuddle it and inhaled his scent again. 

You smiled. 



His POV. 
I walked back home. 
I.. had never felt so happy. 
She is beautiful. 
She is perfect. 
How she blushed.. 


"Hyung! " Se Hun called out. 
" Where's your sweater? Why are you wearing like this only? " 

I smiled. 

" I gave my sweater to someone who has my heart.. " 

"HUH? " 

"To keep her heart warm. " 

SeHun stared at me, and brought the back of his hand to my forehead. 
" Are you okay? Has the cold made you lost your senses? " 

I grinned at him and head back.   

Author's POV

That night, both of them went to sleep with a smile. 
That sweater, was the start of the little love story for this season. 

This ought to be posted yesterday >.< 
But I was busy, because my prom is today!! 

I actually rewrote the story three times, and eventually scrapped it... :( 

So... Here it is. 
I'll try to update with two stories tomorrow to make up for today :)
