HER HEART BEATS FAST as usual when Yoona saw a car stopped in front of the store.     Black Mercedes Benz!     Jonghyun get out the car and walked to her. "Hello, Yoona."     A big smile broke on her lips. "Jonghyun!"     "I suppose you're happy to see me, huh?" he mocked her while sitting at the stool.     "Of course! A customer is always welcome here." she tried to hide her excitement.     Jonghyun look so handsome in his casual attire white gray polo shirt and khaki pants. He looked so fresh and clean, like he just came from the shower. His sporty cologne wafted between them. She controlled herself not to lean forward to scent his neck.     She feel embarrass to her appearance. As usual, she's wearing her uniform, apron on her waist and a baseball cap. She feel so unpresentable at the moment. She wanted to excuse herself right on that spot and fix herself for a while.     "What time your shift ends?"     "Until 12 am. Why?" she answered with confused face.     He glanced at his watch. "Two hours more. Can you leave early?"     "Neh? Why?"     "I'd like to treat you somewhere to a midnight snack."     She feel like fainting any moment.     "Me?"     He smiled at her, amused.     "Is there anyone here except you and me?"     She felt her blood ran both on her cheeks.     "Why?"     "That's your third 'why' in less than a minute, honey."     She blinked several times. Honey. She wished she was really his honey.     "I don't see any of your bodyguards today."     "They're somewhere in the vicinity, following me discreetly. Don't worry about them, they won't disturb us. I feel strange being with them around, So?"     She munched on her lower lip thoughtfully. "Undertime is not allowed in here."     "I'll buy all your burgers tonight." he put out some money from his wallet. "Here, close the store and let's go."     Her eyes widened on his sudden action. "I can't accept that, Jonghyun."     "Why not? I'm buying all your burgers so your boss won't get mad at you when you close this store early."     She put her hands on her waist. "Are trying to bribe me?"     His face soften. "No, honey. I just want to be with you, talk to you over a bottle of wine or something. If it's gonna cost me a few grand, then so be it. I usually don't have time to this kind of things but I really want to know more about you, Yoona. I really want to be your friend."     She remained silent. His eyes meets hers. God, am I dreaming? This handsome guy is asking her out? She'd been wishing to see him again these past few days but she did not just see him tonight, he's also asking her out! How the earth am i going to reject this!      "Give me ten minutes. I'll just need to arrange some things here."     "I'll help you."     She shockingly glanced at him. He couldn't be serious!     "No! You don't have to. I can do it by myself."     But he already managed to get inside. "What do I do?"     She can't answer back. She was caught off guard. The man really wanted to help her clean up.     He grabbed some cloth and start wiping the countertop, then the griddle. She unknowingly stared at his clean fingernails. She watch him with disbelief.   Oh my, a rich guy like him, wiping those oily griddles! Be still my beating heart!     "Move it, Yoona." he impatiently said.     Then she stop zoning out and start moving.         ***         "WHERE are we going?"     He gazed at her for a while, smiled and put back his attention on driving.     "Somewhere really special."     "We could just eat somewhere here," she suggested. "It will not cost you."     His lips curved into a smile and amused of what she had just said. "This is our first night out, It should be special."     She looked out the window and noticed a high building. They drove inside and went out the car.     "Where are we? And what building is this?"     "You'll see."     Jonghyun held her hand and pulled her to the elevator. They were in underground parking area.     She's starting to feel nervous. Where was he taking her? She don't know him that much. He held her hand tightly and stared at her.     "Do you trust me, Yoona?"     "Yes."     He smiled so tenderly at her. "Then come with me."     They went inside the zoom elevator. She looked at the numbers indicating what floor they are in. 40...41...42...She reached his arms. They are already in the peek of the building!     The lift stop at 45th floor. When the metal doors open, a cold night breeze touched her face. She held his arm tighter. She knew at once that they were at the summit of the building!     "J-Jonghyun..." she's hesitant to get out of the lift. She feel not taking any step.     He looked at her with his concerned eyes. "What's the matter? Are you afraid of heights?"     "A-a little...It's my first time to be in a very high building." she unwearingly said.     He put his arms on her shoulders. "It's okay, honey. I'm with you. That was just an initial reaction, later on you'll get used to it. Look around you, the floor is so wide and surrounded by bars. Besides, I'll take care of you, I'll never let you fall." He said soothingly.     She feel at eased after hearing his last words. Her nervousness was slowly fading. He guided her towards the table at the very center of the rooftop. She could see the whole city. It was full of light. She began to appreciate the beauty of their surroundings.           "I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS! I've been living in the city for so long but it is my first time to enter at this kind of place. I'm not even aware these things exist! I feel so gullible."     Jonghyun felt sincerity on Yoona's words. She was a breath of fresh air. Her eyes are full of amusement. She was like a child eagerly taking in her surroundings, and for a man like him who had all the material things money could buy, who had seen too many places than he cared to remember, she was a joy to watch.     "You must be a very important person here. Why did they let you used the rooftop of this building?" She can't help but get curious.     He shrugged. "I own this building."     Her eyes widened. "Wow!" she gasped. "You must be very rich."     He was amused at her genuine astonishment. He had taken his wealth for granted. He worked hard for his family to stay in power but money no longer held any thrill for him.     "Another first time for me, meeting a person like you. Just like my favorite movie, Pretty Woman. Have you watched that?"     He shaked his head. He did not have time for movies. Not in the last seven years of his life when he began working for LEGACY.     "Well, it's an old movie. I really like that movie actually."     "Hmm, what's it all about?" he began to get curious.     "It's all about an ordinary woman meeting an extraordinary man. And they fell madly in-love in like three days!"     His eyes twinkled. "They did, huh?"     She blushed. "Yes." after a while, she shrugged. "What do you expect? That was just a movie."     A waiter went near at their table and put a new dish. "So, this is what you called, Midnight snack? My god, this is a big dinner, Jonghyun! Seriously? Expensive dinner at an expensive restaurant with lots of waiters and musicians. Daebak!"     "Yes! This is our first date, so this must be very special."     "Date? Two friends having a date?"     "Yes, and I don't see any wrong about that. Friends can date too."     Again, she shrugged her shoulders. "If that so."     He filled her wineglass with wine.     "Is that strong? I have no plans of getting drunk."     He grinned, amused. "No, just take a sip."     She sipped from her glass. "Hmmm, it tastes good. Another first time." she said while enjoying her drink. Her lips were wet and shiny with the wine.     "Merlot"     "Oh, so this is Merlot, no wonder it taste good coz it cost a lot. My bestfriend and I just drink soju if we want to get ourselves drunk."     "Why do you want to get drunk?"     "To had fun! To forget our problems in life! Give me some more of that. It really taste good."     He chuckled. "Easy girl, you might get yourself drunk."     "You will take me home, right?"     "Of course." He filled again her wineglass. "So, tell me more about yourself, Yoona."     She sighed. "There's nothing much to tell. I'm just a simple person. Poor but working hard to finish my studies. I'll be graduating this year, in my course Interior Design."     "Really? That's very interesting course. My sister Eunji take the same course in New York."     Her jaw-dropped. "Really? Wow! She's very lucky. I also want to study there!"     "Where are you studying?"     "Seoul University."     "Really? I'm impressed. It figures."     "It figures what?"     "Why you sound so smart."     Her eyes twinkled. "Really?"     "Yeap, I think you've got a lot of potential to be very successful someday." he said sincerely.     Her eyes were shining. "You really think so?"     He smiled. "Yes."     "Kamsahamnida." her face blushed. "How about you, where did you finish your college?"     "Princeton."     "Wow! Daebak! Ivy League! You are so out of reach." She amazingly said.     He chuckled. "Do still have anything to boast about your study?" She teased.     He nodded. "I've got an MBA."     "Hmm, where? I'll take a guess, Harvard?"
