You’re sitting down in the couch, watching TV with your laptop open at the same time. Even though it’s your special day, you treat like any other day. The day’s almost over (3:00pm) and he hasn’t called you ONCE  to tell you happy birthday or anything!? You don’t call him, or tell him, since you don’t want to sound so needy. But you can’t help it; Your sitting at home doing basically nothing and it looks like he forgot your birthday.

*(Favorite SHINee’s song) starts playing, your ringtone for him*

Your sprits gets up, hoping he remembered and he’s finally going to say it!

You: “Hello?”

Key:” ________!” he shouts happily into the phone

You: “Hi Key…” waiting for him to say it

Key: “Are you busy?”

You: “No… I’m free” still waiting

Key: “Great! Let’s go shopping! I have to get some new clothes and I want you to see if the clothes look good on me or not”

You: Disappointed “Oh… yeah sure I’ll go” ):

Key: “What’s wrong? You don’t seem so thrilled?”

You: “It’s okay, It’s nothing…” You hope that if he hears your sad voice, then he’ll remember what day it is today

Key: “Oh Okay! I’ll come to pick you up in a few” He says in tone, not even getting the slightest hint from you that he forgot something “Bye!” you end the call and just plop your phone on the couch.

You: “Maybe he really did forget…” you get up, depressed and head to your room to change

You run out the door, to go meet him. You put on a happy smile, just for him, so that he doesn’t notice you’re really sad about your birthday

Key: Unlocking your door from inside “All ready?” as you get into the passenger seat

You: “Ready” trying your hardest to smile

Key: “Then let’s go!” He pulls out from the curb and starts driving to the mall

At the mall-

Key: “Where should we go first?” holding your hand and swinging it back and forth

You: “Anywhere…” just looking down on the ground, not caring

He pulls you into a shop for guys,

You: In your mind, “We really did come to shop for him only”  Dx You take a seat

Key: looking through the rack “There’s a formal party tonight and I have to find a suit to wear.” He takes out a blue suit “How’s this?” He holds it in front of him

You: “Um, yeah sure” Not caring

Key: “______! What’s wrong? You don’t seem to be into this?”

You: “Sorry Key. I’ll pay attention more…” sitting up straight now

Key: “Okay…” he puts the blue suit back and takes out a black one, “I’ll go try this on”

You look around the store, bored. “How could he forget? I mean, I know he’s busy and all, but this is ridiculous!?”

He comes out of the room, looking so handsome in the black suit. He glances at the mirror to see how he looks, and see’s you looking a little sad in the corner of the mirror. He quickly changes back into his clothes and goes to the cashier

Key: “Just this please” he gives the cashier the money, while looking back at you “Sigh…. Thank you” He takes the bag and walks to you. You look up at him and see his hand out for you.

Key: “Let’s go, I know what will cheer you up!” you take his hand, “Maybe he finally notices?”

He takes you to a coffee stand and buys 1 for him and you.

Key: “Here. I know why you were sad and I’m sorry,” You look up at him, starting to smile, waiting for him to say it! ….. “You didn’t eat and was hungry! So here!” he holds the coffee in front of you

You think: “Is he serious? He really did forget!”

You: “I can’t believe you….”

Key: “What? Aren’t you hungry? That’s why you’ve been sad all day”

You: Holding back the tears, “I-I can’t believe you!! You’re the worst!” You run away from him, so that he can’t see your tears running down.

He stands there, watching you run, not hesitating to run after you

Key: To himself “Tch, I really did go too far”

You take a taxi home, and crawl into bed, just wanting to cry the whole night. Your hurt; he forgot the most important day to you, and didn’t even seem to care!?

*Ring Ring* Your house phone starts to ring, but you don’t want to talk to anyone so you let it go to voice mail.

Onew: “Hey _______? Um It’s me, Onew? Hey listen, I need you to do me a favor? So can you come with me somewhere? I’ll be around your house 8? Okay bye”

You think about his message, and decided that you shouldn’t spend your birthday crying. You got the strength to get up and change into something better. You text Onew telling him you’ll help, and at exactly 8 he come’s to your house.

Onew: “Thanks for helping me _______” as you get in

You: “No problem” He drives for a while, and then starts going down a road with no streetlights. You couldn’t see anything outside the window, only the road where the headlights were on.

Onew: Putting the car in park, “We’re here”

You: “Where’s here?” trying to figure out where you guys are. He ignores your question and just gets out of the car. You get out too and was about to ask Onew another question when something else catches your attention; something BIG.

There in front of you was a big boat! You looked up where the deck was and saw him.

Key: “HAPPY BIRTHDAY ________! I LOVE YOU!” He shouts at the top of his lungs

You cover your mouth in surprise, as Onew takes you to the entrance of the boat. It was a really big boat, and when you got to the deck where he was, you saw everything. The little dance floor, the table for 2, balloons everywhere, a banner, and even Jonghyun, Taemin, and Minho! Then you saw him, in the black suit you and him went to buy; smiling at you with an angelic smile. Taemin picks up the birthday cake and everyone gathers around you, with key holding your hand next you

SHINee: “Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday dear _______ ! Happy birthday to you!”

Taemin: “Blow out the candles!” You blow out the candles

You: “Oh my gosh… I can’t believe this….”

Jonghyun: “It was all his idea from the beginning” pointing to Key

You turn to him, as he smiles at you

Key: “Sorry for being harsh to you”

You: thinking back to what you said to him, you start to feel guilty “No Key, I’m sorry. This Is just, amazing. Thank you” You wrap your hands around his neck and hug him tightly,

Key: Pulls back, “I love you” He kisses you passionately, not caring that the other 4 are around.

Key: “Wait, there’s 1 more thing.” He reaches into his pocket and pulls out something

A necklace. He hooks it around your neck. It was the cutest and most beautiful key you have ever seen. You look up at him, with 1 hand on the Key.  He takes both of your hands and looks straight into your eyes,

Key: “I know I’m your key to your heart. But, I want you to know, You’ll always be the Key to mine…” he kisses your lips, “Happy birthday _______” pulling you into a tight hug with his arms around your waist
