You: “I’m not sure… I hope x3”

Friend: “Ahhhh! Good Luck! d(^-^ )”

You: “Thanks :D”

11-11-11 was the day everyone was talking about. Everyone knew, that if someone asks you out on that day, then you two would be together forever<3 You and Key have already been going out for about 2 years already but you still hoped he would do something special. It was an ordinary Friday, which meant movies on the couch with popcorn and everything. Not once has he mentioned 11-11 to you and even though you thought you shouldn’t care, you couldn’t help it.

You held your breath as the doorbell rang. Running to answer it, you find yourself exhaling in relief as you saw him standing there.

You: “Hey…” moving to the side a little so that he could come in

Key: “Hey,” he said naturally

You: “Brought the movie?” closing and locking the door

Key: “Yep,” holding it up as he turned to face you. He walked backwards into the living room, watching you walk behind him, “Got the popcorn ready?” smirking

You: “Just finished.” Smiling back at him

He goes to start up the movie while you get the popcorn. It was 9:30 at night already which meant you still had a lot of time before 11:11. You peaked into the living room and see him sitting on the couch, leaving a nice cozy spot right next to him for you.

You: “Popcorn!” you announced as you walked into the room. You placed the bowl on the table before cuddling into his side. He grabbed a few and threw them into his mouth.

Key started the movie, leaving you both to be silent as the movie played. Your eyes would constantly go from the move to the clock, watching the time pass by quickly. Taking glances up at him to see if he was planning on doing something, but Key had his eyes on the movie the whole time. You sighed to yourself, thinking it was useless. You felt a little disappointed during the end of the movie. After about 1 hour and a half, the movie ended and both of you stretched.

Key: “So what did you think of the movie?” he asked, waiting for your response

You: “It was alright…” looking at the time. It was already 11 and he still never said anything

Key: “Alright?” he pulled your face to his so he could look at you better. “______, are you okay?” looking at you suspiciously

You: “Yeah, fine. Don’t worry about it.” Brushing it off as nothing

You pushed his hands away from you and stood up to go to the kitchen when his hand caught you again and pulled you down.

Key: “You’re lying. You’re worried about something, I know it. Just tell me what’s bothering you _____!” he begged, looking at you with caring eyes

You took a pause to stare into his eyes before speaking,

You: “The date; that’s what’s bothering me”

Key: “….. The date? Haha, what’s wrong with the date??” he asked, still clueless

You: “It’s 11/11/11!” you exclaimed

Key: “Oh, that. I know that”

You: “If you know, then how come we didn’t do anything special? If you get asked out on 11/11/11 on 11:11 then you and your partner would be together forever!” you explained your worries

Key: Laughing at you, “I know what happens on 11:11 and really I don’t care about it” You looked at him confused. Chuckling a little at your reaction he explained, “I don’t need a stupid date to tell me that I’m going to be with you forever. I already know that you’re mine and that’s all that matters. You’re mine forever and nothing can say otherwise. So don’t worry about it. I love you so much that seeing you every day just makes it special.” Key smiles at you and you smiled back. You felt ashamed and stupid for over thinking this 11/11 thing.

You: “I love you too Key…” you whispered in the silence

Key: “I know….” He whispered back, kissing you softly on the lips. You smiled back at him as your lips parted at 11:12pm.
