announcement: please queue up in an orderly manner as the Hey! Say! Jump christmas autograph session will start in a moment.
...girls' murmurs...

"okasan Daijoubu?" the little girl could see tears in her mother's eyes.
her little hand slot into her mother's hand, supposedly a young girl's wish to console her mother.
the young mother looked down at her daughter and smiled...
smiled because her daughter is her only other most precious thing in her life... she captured all the memories.. she is the memory...
"okasan, I..." the young mother turned to a much older woman.
"I understand... go... I'll take care of her. I'll get her to see her idol"
"arigatou okasan"
the young mother dashed out. even her young daughter knew her mother is crying. the young girl's puzzled look changed to joy when her grandmother said... "they are starting the session... are you excited?"
"yes!!! I hope Niichan remembers me!"
"Niichan? you mean one of them on stage?"
"ojisan, it's a secret. I promised Niichan."
"huh?" but her grandmother gave up probing anyways... she is more worried over another thing...
"later, you go up to those niichan-s yourself okay... grandmother won't be going up with you."
"why? are you shy?" the young girl innocently asked her.
"silly girl. grandmother is too old for this. you'll do well alone up there... those Niichans will take care of you."
what the young girl doesn't know is that her grandmother is hiding from someone.

Yamada POV
"yamachan, Daijoubu.?"Chinen asked as we took our seats beside each other.
"yeah, why?"
"erm... that song and that person..."
"oh, I'm fine" I smiled... as expected Chinen totally understood me without me saying anything. but saying I'm okay was just so he doesn't get worried. I do still feel the pain from last week's meet with Mirai.
I smiled and gave each of the fans a autograph and thank them for their support. alot of them had my uchiwas and I'm really glad that my solo work didnt lead to a drop of my fans.
/daisuki Yamada-kun!/ a group of girls said to me.
"arigatou ! boku mo" I blushed
"kawaii!" Yabu and Hikaru exclaimed . other members looked in their direction and I realised a familiar face.
"Kumiko?"
"Niichan!" she ran towards me.
"you remember me, Niichan!"
"of course I remember you... we have our little secret right" I smiled to her.. other members are jealous of our cute interaction. even Chinen looked confused.
"I came with my mother and my grandmother" she pointed to the crowd.
I wanted to wave to them but instead someone else caught my attention..
.Heh?
isn't that Mirai's mother? I must be seeing things.
"yamada~" Chinen brought my senses back... "dear Kumiko is waiting~"
"ahh Gomenasai Kumiko. since we are friends and you kept our little secret...., let me give you something extra...shhh, others don't have it."
"arigatou Niichan!"
"I'll add a personalize message with the autograph for you"
"what's your full name, Kumiko?"
"Yamada Kumiko"
"wow you are a Yamada too... we have the same ancestor" I smiled.

"here, this is for you!" I ruffled her hair.
"Niichan! arigatou! can you do one for my mom too? she likes you a lot"
"where's your mom?"
"she's unwell so she left"
"I see. of course I'll write for her too."

my heart stopped at the instant. the name is so familiar, heartwrenching and unexpected at this point in time.
"shida Mirai"
"what?"
even Chinen heard it...
"sorry girl, what you said was your mom's name again?" Chinen interrupted.
"Shida Mirai."
my hands was shaking so bad that my marker on my hand slipped out.
I tried to grab the marker but my hands couldn't even coordinate properly.
my lips are shaking so badly too that I couldn't make any respond to Kumiko.
could it be???
Shida Mirai, the Mirai I know, is her mom? the girl's name is Yamada Kumiko... Yamada? but it should be Nakayama Kumiko if her mom is Mirai... but but she's a Yamada.
I want to ask Kumiko more. I stretched out my hand hoping to hold her and verify with her. her mom can't be the Shida Mirai I know... if she is, then... this little girl could be caused by that night, that night when I did those horrible stuff to Mirai... no no, it couldn't be. this little girl I adore... who clicked with me so well... is related to me?"
Chinen is worried. He pat my back and consoled me "It may not be. it can't be, Yamada-kun. if she has your daughter, she would have told you. don't worry. it's just coincidental"
regardless how I tried to reach her, it seemed I can't touch her.
my head is hurting so bad.
the whole environment is spinning like no tomorrow. the view in front of me is blurring.
"Yamada-kun!"
"Ryosuke!"
"Yamada-san!"
the last I heard were screaming from my fans and the girl standing in front of me... crying "Niichan"
everything out. I could feel my eyes wet. I teared.

Mirai POV
"what happened okasan?! Kumiko dear... why are you crying?"
"okasan!!!! Niichan , Niichan , he is not well..." she hugged me so tightly and she's shaking badly.
"Niichan? Kumiko, you have to tell mom clearly or I won't understand. shouldn't you be getting autograph from Jump?"
I turned to my mom but she stood there shaking as well.
"Okasan!!! what the hell happened inside?! who is this Niichan she's saying?!"
"I didn't know... I didn't know that they have already met before! I didn't know this will happen! I thought it'll be just an autograph...I didn't expect him to find out..." my mom cried as well
"who? find out what? who did Kumiko meet? it is just an autograph, isn't it... mom, Just say clearly!"
"I think he knows your secret already. maybe is this telepathy between father-daughter...that brought them together in the first place. they apparently met before today and she told him her mother's name..."
"nan~de..."
the thing I feared most... I want to bring up this child alone and bring this secret into my grave. I don't want him to pity me, or feel burden by Kumiko... I don't want him to pay for a mistake that he didnt mean. I know Mariya spiked his drink... that explains his lust and thirst that day the whole incident happened. I don't want Kumiko to be hurt by a mistake that both of us made...he doesn't like me so things won't work. and I don't want to burden his work too.
I thought it'll be a secret forever.
"okasan... what's gonna happen to Niichan?"
she called him Niichan... that breaks my heart... I really wanna tell you the Niichan you adore is the father you yearn. Gomenasai Kumiko for lying to you. it's for your dad's and your good
"he collapsed on the ground just now" my mom replied.
"collapse?! why?"
"don't scare her" my mom warned.
my daughter cried harder... she seems really attached to him and this aroused a whole lot of mix feeling in me.
"I don't know why but he looks shocked at first and then he fainted when Kumiko is still there...he looks really pale when I saw the crew trying to get him backstage. the whole event ended and the fans went hysteria over his collapse... some even cried... "
yamada-kun... if it's because of this secret that your body couldn't handle the shock, it gives me even stronger reason to keep this secret to myself. the truth will take away much more from you than me... you'll understand in time to come. Gomenasai and take care.
"Kumiko, your Niichan is well taken off. there's so many people to care for him, so you don't need to worry"
"but, okasan.... Niichan,"
"enough,! lets go home" I fight back my tears.
"okasan! you like him too isn't it... aren't you worried?"
"I'm not worried ! in fact, an idol is an idol! he's not part of our lives so Kumiko, don't overreact!"
I scared her. then she stared sternly at me.
"okasan! you are so HEARTLESS! Niichan is such a nice person but you don't care at all! I HATE YOU!"
those words echoed in my mind, recalling back the painful line that I uttered 5 years back ..."I HATE YAMADA RYOSUKE!"
I slapped my daughter.
"Mirai! why do you do that!" my mom held the crying child.
"I~"
"I WANT DAD!" the little girl buried herself into her grandmother's embrace.
"bring me to daddy, ojisan! I don't want mom!"
it hurts my heart... Gomenasai Kumiko... you'll not see your daddy.
