Method to My Madness
Hyun Ae POV
I am all for first impressions but today I don’t really care.
It’s my first class and I am running late – under the rain, without an umbrella and lost. I tried to swerve my way along the maze of buildings when I bumped into someone. Without much luck everything in my bag exploded on the wet ground.
“Sorry,” I heard him say trying to salvage everything from the ground.
I just gave him a loud sigh without looking at his face. I don’t want to be in a bad mood on my first day in college.
“Hyen ae sshi, I’m really sorry. I will help you dry them up.”
I was astounded when I heard my name and saw a familiar face in front of me.
Yunho is in front of me.
“You again?” I didn’t mean to be annoyed but I sounded like it.
“Nice to see you too.” He smiled. He carried my things and pulled my wrist towards the nearest building.
Of all the places I do not expect to see him here.
He made me sit down in the nearest bench inside the deserted building.
“Are we even allowed to come inside this classroom?” I muttered.
He gathered my papers and gently piled them up in the table in front of me. “This building is the law lecture hall. Classes here usually start after lunch so it is pretty much free this time.” He peeked in my paper and tried deciphering it. “Are you taking social welfare studies?”
“So it seems” I said to him looking bored while wiping the rest of my things.
He chuckled. “I like you better when you’re annoyed rather than you trying to annoy me.”
Blood rushed unto my face so I tried to hide it by standing up and turning the other side pretending not to hear what he just said. I continue on counting if I miss something from my bag.
He seemed to be moving at my back but I just ignored him.
