Jongin actually didn’t have any plan to stay for a night. But when he looked at how happy his daughter was when she interacted with her two uncles, Jongin didn’t have a heart to ask her home.

“We need to celebrate, sweetheart.” Key’s eyes softened as he Minji’s hair lovingly. “I’m so glad you’re here. You’re so pretty just—“

“Just like your mother.” Minji continued the sentence with tender smile. “I got that quite a lot but the way you guys say it makes me feel so loved.”

“It’s pretty obvious, actually.” Minji chortled. “But the man right here, he’s really bad at showing how loved I am. Sometimes I wonder if my presence is even wanted.”
