CHAPTER 27

She sat down next to him by the bar as the two of them had decided to have some ice cream. It was nearly midnight and they were both alone inside his luxurious unit. Hana bit her lower lip as she just poked on her box of ice cream while Kris quietly ate.

Hana was confused.

“Are you okay?”

She snapped her head to the side and flustered when she met his gaze. Hana blinked her eyes and put on a smile; she nodded her head and took a spoonful of ice cream into . Kris swallowed and kept looking at her. Upon noticing, Hana turned to him with questioning eyes “I-is something wrong?”

Kris didn't say anything, instead he just reached out his hand and wiped off the small trace of ice cream from the side of . Hana's face flustered and a small smile of amusement crept onto his face. Surprised, Hana brightly smiled at his facial reaction.

“Hey, you smiled!” she chimed. Kris smiled some more at her bright aura; he propped one of his elbows on the marble surface, his hand against his cheek as he looked at her in amusement. “Aren't you something, Kim Hana?”

Hana puffed up her cheeks and turned back to the ice cream infront of her.

“I just like seeing you smile” she mumbled, eating her ice cream once again. Kris turned back to his own dessert aswell and they both ate in silence. Kris caught sight of the time on his watch and raised his brows “It's midnight already” he mumbled. Hana looked at her own watch “Omo ~” she quickly hopped off the chair and Kris frowned.

Quickly, he moved off from his chair and trapped Hana with his arms, body and counter. She gasped in surprise.

“Didn't I tell you to stay the night?” Hana swallowed hard, battering her eyes nervously. “S-sir, there's wor ---”

“And didn't I tell you drop formalities?” Kris said leaning his head forward a bit as Hana leaned hers back. “S---sir ----”

Kris pecked the side of her lips making her eyes go wide, her face go red all over and her whole body froze. An amused look got painted over Kris's face, he gave her a smirk “Call me sir again” Hana shook her head and he gave a small amused chuckle “Let's play a game, Hana”

Hana grew nervous. As much as it was pleasing to see Kris smiling and hearing him laugh, she couldn't help but feel nervous about his actions. They were too... different. He was completely showing another side of him and for some reason, she was in fear of it.

“A g-game?” he nodded his head; “If you use a formality, I'll do what I did to you earlier”

She swallowed hard and raised a brow at him “And what about you?”

He took a quick of his upper lip “I don't use formalities on you” she frowned “Isn't that unfair that I only get consequences?”

Kris gave her a half smile “Shouldn't you think of it as a prize rather than a consequence?”

Hana gently pushed him back and scooted aside, away from his entrapment. She flashed him a wide smile “Well, it was nice having ice cream with you, I hope you get better soon but there's work tomorrow and I have to go, Kris-ssi~” she gave a salute and was about to walk off when she was pulled once again, landing on his arms, bumping onto his chest a little and a peck was planted on her lips.

“Yah! Stop that!” Hana pushed him off but his arm around her waist were firm. She gasped when she realized she had raised her voice at him and clasped her hands over her lips with wide eyes. Kris raised a brow at her “Did you just raise your voice at me, Kim Hana?”

His voice sounded more seductive than angry, like what she had expected.

“Mmff-mff-mumff-phmff” she spoke with her hands still clasped tightly over her lips. “What?”

she loosened her clasp over her lips so she would be able to speak clearly while still shielding . “It's not right to just keep kissing people you're not... r-romantically involved with!”

Kris fell quiet and her just stared at her. Hana's face only grew redder than it already was;

“Alright...” he finally said “Will you be my girlfriend?”

Hana.

What?

I stood frozen in my spot, his arms around my waist, my hands on my mouth and he looked at me straight in the eye. Hana... did you hear that? My heart slowly began to thump, faster and harder. I swallowed hard and broke my mouth open but my voice was nowhere to be found. Kris kept looking at me, waiting.

And waiting.

His hands pressed slightly on my back and I squeaked “Waeyo?”

“Because I like you” his face turned innocent. He didn't look like he was joking at all. Kris Wu... j-just... He likes me. I swallowed hard. Kris gave me a sigh “If you don't say anything, I'll take that as a yes”

I bit my lower lip.

Kris's face completely softened and a smile curved on his lips; it was... no. HE was just... so damn handsome.

And this guy just told me he likes me. This guy who is supposed to be... out of my league. His one hand pulled down my hands from my lips, he gently took one of my hands and placed it on his shoulder before he had placed it back on my waist. Gulp.

He leaned forward and my eyes closed as soon as I felt his lips on top of mine.

And it feels just like the first time.

My eyes fluttered open.

Sigh. I don't want to get up. The white sheets were warmly wrapped around me as I closed my eyes once again. Wait a minute... I opened my eyes and saw the white sheets, I felt under me and it was soft. Not leathery.

I'm supposed to be sleeping on the couch in Kris's living room. A weight landed on my waist and I felt my back pressing onto something warm. My eyes widened. Gasp.

I shot up and a groan came from beside me. I mentally sighed in relief when I saw that my clothes were still on; Ofcourse they would be on, unless he me. Aigo. “What am I doing here?” I asked, pressing the thick sheets onto my chest. Kris let out a sigh; he wasn't wearing a shirt and upon realization, my cheeks turned red. “Morning to you too”

Beep. My eyes shot towards the side where the sound came from; his digital clock made my eyes go wide: 9:30 AM

I scampered out of bed “Late!” I panicked, going on my knees to crouch down, looking for my heels under his bed. Forget about sleeping on the same bed as my boss right now, I'm late for work and there's a lot of things to finish!

Kris yawned and sat up. I grabbed my heels and got up to my feet, making sure to avoid looking at him. I bowed “Sorry for the inconvenience, sir but I'm late for work” I hurried out of his bed room and headed straight for the main door. Late. Late. Late.

“Yah” I paused on my tracks and turned around. Kris was walking towards me; messy morning hair, sleepy look and shirtless. My cheeks burned. “S-sir?”

He gave me a sigh as he ran a hand through his hair, stopping infront of me.

“You forgot something”

I tilted my head to the side a bit in confusion. I'm pretty sure I didn't forget anything; I have my heels and purse in hand, so what else is there? He smirked before placing a quick peck on my lips.

GAH! I swallowed hard before running out of the door. He has got to stop that!

10:57 AM

Finally here! I heaved a heavy breath of relief as I finally entered through the glass doors of Wu Enterprise. However, it wasn't typical today; people were murmuring and whispering and the thing is... they were all looking at me. As if I was the talk of the town, the center of gossip.

As if I've done something wrong.

“Ms. Kim” I turned around and saw Xiumin smiling at me. He had just gotten off the escalator and was now heading towards me. I smiled and gave him a bow “Good morning sir”

He pocketed his hands and chuckled “How are you?” I blinked my eyes at his question; he asked as if we haven't seen each other for a long time when in fact we saw each other just yesterday. However, I politely smiled “I'm fine, sir”

“You weren't home last night” we both turned our heads and saw Chen, smiling playfully. He placed a hand on my shoulder “Kai and I came to check if you reached home after Suho had left Kris's place but you weren't there” Xiumin turned to me with surprised eyes “Omo, Hana-ssi, don't tell me ---”

Chen chuckled “I hope Kris didn't break the bed” he winked and all of a sudden, blood rushed to my cheeks. What the hell?!

Ding. The elevator doors opened revealing Luhan and Sehun. “Oh, Hana, you're here!” Sehun chimed, steeping out of the elevator after Luhan. I bowed. “Why are you so red?” Luhan asked, placing the back of his hand on my forehead. “Do you have fever?”

Chen and Xiumin suppressed their laughter. I swallowed hard and saw the still opened elevator “Uhm... sorry but I have to go; sorry” I bowed, rushing to get inside the elevator. Aigo, Kim Hana, what have you gotten yourself into?!

Ring. Ring. Ring. I pull out my phone from my bag and saw Kris's name on the screen. Gulp. I slide my finger over the screen and press the phone onto my ears “H-Hello?”

“Don't time in. You're already late by 2 hours... press the button for the underground parking lot” I blinked my eyes “E-eh, it's okay... I have to finish work and --”

He sighed on the other line.

“You have three minutes to get here, Ms. Kim... don't make your boyfriend wait”

He put the phone down. I pulled the phone away from my ear and stared at it. A blush makes it way to my cheeks and I blink my eyes. Boyfriend?

Hi guys ~ the annoying author-nim is here to bring you the update and that video up there really made my day :D

I miss giving ransoms but I can't ask for anything until next next week; I'm almost finished with my project, woot! Deadline's Octber 8 and yeah... But //sigh. sadly, I still won't be updating regularly next week because there is still the dreaded design plate for the finals. So many things to do, so little time :(

Anywaym I hope you guys enjoyed this, kekekekeke, sorry if it wasn't what you expected but I think it's still too early for that :)
