This was the one-shot I entered in the Triple Threat Fanfic Contest and I admit that it distracted me a lot from my Triangle story but it's all good. The judges read it and have given me my score which gives me permission to finally publish my story.

I decided to post it up in parts since it's a really long one-shot and I figured, why not give it to you guys in chapters? And since it's already finished, I also decided to post up each "chapter" every week. This allows me to have something to post once a week as I work on Triangle so I don't leave you guys hanging too much. I plan on posting the first chapter on September 25, 2013.

I don't want to give too much of the plot away hence why the summary is so short. :)

However I'm a bit of a softy and I can never just leave you guys with nothing. So here's some lines from Soul Strings:

"Right after you tell me why you put a string on my pinky."

A tug on the string caused her to look up in surprise.

"What's the red string for?"

"You expect us to believe you can see red strings?"

"The red string connects two soul mates together."

"Why don't you believe me?"

"I don't believe in soul mates."

"What are soul mates?"

"It's the one other person you will fall in love with because you were made for each other."

"We are soul mates. Forever."
