~Kai POV~

I couldn't concentrate on the lessons anymore. After what encountered on the rooftop earlier with Reina, it was hard not to think about it. When she held my hand...there was just this overwhelming feeling coming over me. There was a large spark when our skins touched. I could've sworn you could see lightning when it happened. I looked up at her and I knew she felt the same. When she came down from the ledge, it took all my strength not to kiss her right there and then.

I looked toward her direction in class and I could see she was having a hard time concentrating too. She looked over at my direction and I had to look away quickly. I looked over at her again and she was smiling. It was little, but she was definitely smiling. But this smile looked different from all the other smiles I've seen her give. It seemed shy and genuine. A real smile. I couldn't help but smile as well. She's alright now...that's all that matters

"Mr. Jongin. Would you mind to at least make an effort to pay attention in my class." Mr. Kim, Xiumin when he's my Chinese teacher and not my math teacher, asked. I nodded and said my apologies. I started writing down more of the notes before a piece of paper landed on my desk. It was folded up weird, which meant it was from Reina, since she was the only one who could fold paper that way. I looked at her and she motioned me to open it. I took down some more notes before unfolding the paper.

I smiled and looked up at her. I scribbled something down before folding it the same way she did or at least what I think she did.... and slid it near her foot. She picked it up while still taking down notes, which I think is pretty impressive.

~Reina POV~

I heard the paper slide across the floor and hit my foot. I focused on the notes while trying my best to get the note. When Mr. Kim turned around,I quickly unfolded that paper and read what Jongin wrote.

I'm fine. Just...out of it...

This class is just taking forever -_-

I laughed a little and wrote something down and slid it back to Jongin.

~Kai POV~

I saw Reina from the corner of my eye and she was giggling. I'm good in math...but this lesson is so dull.... I couldn't help but smile myself, just by looking at her smiling. The note slid back to me and I quickly picked it up before Xiumin opps.. Mr. Kim noticed. Once again, unfolding and reading.

I hate math class~

and because of what happened on the roof? Is that why you're "out of it"?

I took down the last bit of notes and slid the note under my notebook as Mr. Kim was handing out worksheets.

"Okay class, for this assignment you can work with a partner or a group, but only up to groups of 3 at the most. I know you guys wont be able to get work done once it gets any bigger. You could chose to work alone if you do so please. If there are those who are working alone, I would kindly ask that hose working in groups keep their voices down so everyone can get their work done. Alright, if not finished in class today, please bring it in completely finished by Monday. Alright~ Go forth~"

With Mr. Kim finally finished with explaining the directions, everyone started moving around the room to work with their partners. Well...Guess I might as well start working on this...It's not like someone is going to work with me anyway.... I could hear many of the "beauties" and jocks asking to pair up with Reina, but she refused all of them. "I'm gonna go work with Jongin." I heard her say politely. I was flabbergasted. My cheeks started burning up as I looked up at her. She had a genuine smile on her face as she walked over to the seat in front of me. She turned the chair around so we would be facing each other and placed her bag on the table behind her. "As long as that's okay with you, Jongin." She shot me another genuine eye smile, which made me smile back. "N-no problem at all ." She nodded as the two of us started working together on the assignment. Whispers and gossip talk floated all around us. "Why is she working with that creep?" "Do you think he has like some secret behind her and the only way to still keep it a secret is to date him?" "OMG ARE THEY DATING?!?!?"

It started to bother me a little. I didn't want to burden Reina. She already has a good reputation in the past school years. Why mess it up by being with a guy like me.

Another piece of paper landed in front of my pencil. Reina's signature paper fold. I looked up at her and gave her an "are-you-serious-we're-sitting-in-front-of-each-other" look. She used her expressive eyebrows to say "read-it-before-I-kick-you" before continuing on with the problem she was currently working on.

Hey~ I don't think we will be able to finish this with only 7 minutes left of school Wanna get some bubble tea or something else and finish it up there??

My heart stopped. Completely stopped. The girl of my dreams just asked me to hang out with her after school. Yeah it's to do homework. But it's still one-on-one time with her. Just like the rooftop....

She started packing up her bag, since there was only 2 minutes left until the bell rings. "So? Game or not?" She asked while slipping her bag around her small shoulders. I smiled and started packing my bag too. "Game."
