Mermaid?
A Mermaid's Tear
Jonhyun’s pov:
“Jonghyun?’
I turned my head to see Key calling me.
“Yes?” I asked, distracted and looked back, only to find nothing in front of me.
Eeh…?
She’s gone?
Where did she go?
Was I hallucinating all this time?
It wasn’t real…?
For sure, I didn’t go crazy right…?
I mean, come on, a girl with a fish tail?
A mermaid?
A real mermaid?!
No… it’s only my imagination….
“Jonghyun?” Key asked.
“Yeah…?”
“Why are you spaced out?” Key sighed and noticed the plastic bucket on the rocks, shells having fell out of it.
“Why did you let the bucket fall?” Key asked, scolding me and bended down, getting all the things back in it.
“Key…”
“Yeah?” he asked, throwing the last shell in it and standing again, stretching his body.
“Are we dreaming?”
“What are you talking about?” Key rolled his eyes and pinched my cheeks, hard.
“Auw!!”
“Hurts right? We’re not dreaming, idiot.”
I pouted as he called me idiot and cocked my head a bit to the left side.
It really was a hallucination after all?
I was about to walk away, when the water suddenly moved.
Ehh…?
But the water is still here.
Taking a few steps back, I looked around and saw something hiding himself behind a rock.
I quickly moved and widened my eyes as I saw the girl from before.
No dream…
It’s real…
She looked back at me, her emerald green eyes wide open.
“Key!” I yelled.
“What?!” Key asked annoyed and mumbled incoherent words, probably cussing me, as he walked to me.
The girl tried to go away, but I grabbed her wrist, making sure she couldn’t escape.
I have to let Key see this.
He must tell me this isn’t real.
“What?” Key asked and looked at me, before his head moved and looked at the girl.
Key bowed his head and smiled.
“Oh, I’m sorry. Is my friend bothering you?” Key asked.
She didn’t speak.
She tried to, as was open to talk, but she didn’t know what to say.
“That’s not important. Key, look closely at her.” I said.
Key frowned
