Chapter 1:

failed for the nth time

Jessica’s POV

It’s been 6 or more months had passed but still pictures and Fan cams are all over the net, it’s all about me and Donghae, when I guess him in our concert to sang with me at my solo number

I still remember my feelings when we did it, I feel so nervous but at the same time excited, because the person I love was with me specially the time I didn’t expect

We are almost get busted when a picture that I and him are kissing, it’s not us of course, for god sake, it’s been hard for me at that time because a lot of people kept bashing and saying bad words and names to me, because a rumor that Hae and I are dating, his fans got mad at me and yeah, I became the most hated member in SNSD, I topped the poll, yey! (Sarcasm)

And top of that, fans want Yoona and Hae together, ouch, right? And me? My name was dragged and linked to different idols. And guess what, I got more antis, fun right? That made me almost killed by one when she threw her camera in my face, SM Entertainment took controlled and care of it.

And because of that, I became more scared of socializing and interacting to people, that made them misinterpret my actions, my mind was just not in the right track that time, I was bombarded with a lot of things

“Hey…” someone interrupted me

“Oh, hi?” I said while closing my laptop

“What’s with the deep thought?” Tiffany asked me

“Tiff? What if you learned that I’m married?” I asked her curiously

“Mwo? Married, NO!!! NO!!! JETI is FOREVER!!!” she shouted to me

“TIFF, I asked… what if?” I asked her seriously

“Well, I’ll became sad because when you get married, you have no time to bond with us but only to your husband then when you got a baby, it will doubled since you have to take care of him or her or whatever, you’ll be a full time mom and house wife…”

“Don’t want that to happen… we still need you, we still want to make good and happy memories with you, I know that SNSD and SUJU and SM TOWN wanted that…” she said as she hugged the teddy bear beside her

An awkward silence occurred

“Wait? Are you going to cast on WGM? Otteoke???” she shouted

“Where’s the camera? Tell me… why didn’t you inform me? So at least I can put some make up or blush on…” she said while roaming around

“Tiff, you are just overreacting, there is no camera, and there is no WGM? Araso…” I said as I hugged her

“Wae? Are you okay?” she said as she touched my forehead

“I just felt doing it…” I lied

But in my thoughts, I was really sorry for her, for them, for everyone around us that needs to know, that has the right to know

“Jessica Jung!!! You are giving me shivers… hahahaha” she said while hugging her self and teased me

“YAH!!! So you don’t want my HUG anymore because you like Siwon oppa’s hug?” I back

“YAH!!! I don’t like him…” she denied

“Come on, fany ah!!! Don’t lie… I’m your best friend…” I interrogated her

“No, I don’t like him…” she denied again

“Oh, really? Are you sure?” I asked her while tickling her

“JUNG JESSICA!!! Stop it… okay… I don’t like CHOI SIWON!!!” she shouted shyly

Then I started to tickled and more, she did too, well it’s been a long time since we had a quality time together but it was interrupted, when my cellular phone rang

“Oh… mian… I’ll just get that…” I said as I got up from my bed

I got my phone and in my surprised it’s capital HIM

Caller ID: fishy prince calling…

“Yoboseyo… “I asked him nonchalant

“Oh… did I disturbed you…” he asked me back

“Aahhmm…. Sort of…I think…” i said sounded so disrespectful to him

“Oh, mian… get dress… meet me at SM building’s parking lot, we will visit halmoni, she is sick, and she wanted to see us”

“Oh, is that so… okay… I’ll be there in an hour” I said to him

“Okay, you take care…” he said to me in a sincere tone

“You too…” I said before I hang up

“Who’s that?” Fany as me curiously

“Appa… he told to me that we will visit halmoni…” I lied to her

“Oh, okay, I’ll leave now…take care okay…” she said as she left my room

I got dress and went to where I and Donghae decided to meet, not too long he came with his sports car, the went down to open the door for me, he revved up the car and we headed to our destination

“By the way, you looked pretty in that dress” he mumbled

“You too… you look as handsome as ever…” I said before I giggled

He pinched my cheeks

“Focus on driving…” I said as I slapped him playfully in the arms

Not too long we arrived at his halmoni’s house; he helped to get out of the car and assisted me until we went inside

“JESSICA!!!” halmoni shouted as she hugged me

“GRANNY!!! “ I hugged her back

“So how’s my pretty granddaughter in law?” she asked me as she lead the way, leaving Donghae behind

We sat down at the sofa and she begun to asked me a lot of questions about me and my work and lastly about me and Donghae

“I’d heard that SNSD will go to Japan and stayed there to have concert in mid of this year…” she started

“Oh yeah, granny…” I answered her

“Well, good luck then and take good care of yourself…” she said as she hugged me again

“I will…” I said with a smile

Donghae faked a cough, making granny to took notice of his existence

“Oh, sorry my little boy…” she said as she runs to Hae and hugged him

“Finally…” Donghae joked

“Aigoo… sorry… my little HAE!!!” granny said as she pinched and cuddled Hae’s face

I laughed so hard at Hae’s face warped by granny

“HAHAHA!!! Funny?” he asked me sarcastically while getting closer to me

“Omo, what are you going to do?” I said as I tried to move back

“You know…” he said with an evil grin

“Omo, no, don’t do that…” I said as I stood up and tried to run but he got me and tickled me

I admit, I’m a ticklish person

“Hae, stop please…hahaha” I begged him

“No, I will not…hahaha look at you as red as a tomato…” he said without stopping in tickling me

“Hae, stop that already, Jessica can’t breathe already…” Granny my savior told to Hae

“Araso… araso…” he said as he stopped and helped me to sit up straight

“Kids, wait for a while I prepared dinner… make yourself feel at home” Granny told us

“NEH!!!” we both said in unison

She went to the kitchen and left us to alone in the living room

I was playing in my iPhone and he begun to disturb me

“Yah!!! Stop it….” I annoyingly said

“I don’t want…” he said as he continue to pissed me

I sighed and placed my phone beside me

“Okay? What do you want?” I asked him seriously

“Play with me….” He said with his puppy eyes

“Huh? I’m bored…” he begged

“What the…. Just play with your phone or watch TV….” I ignored him

“Please…” he said as he pulled my sleeves

“Araso…” I gave up

So I played with him, until Granny called us for dinner

After we ate, we went to the entertainment room and sing

Donghae sang MARRY U, while I sang Stupid Cupid

I was a little bit tired when Granny, requested a duet from us

“Halmoni, Jessica is tired already maybe later…” Donghae told to Granny, I noticed her how become sad

So I stood up and grabbed the mic and press the numbers of the song then I throw the other mic to Donghae

The intro begun

“Hae, stand up… the song is starting” I told to him, and he immediately got up and went to my side

“Granny, say ho~” Jessica shouted

“HO~” halmoni obeyed her

Donghae’s POV

I was amazed on how she makes people happy in just a snapped, I know that we are married but there is no strings attach: how it happened? Curious on how we got MARRIED?  Simple it was a fix marriage by our elders, great right?

Flash back: Trainee days

Jessica and I are trainees back then, we became good friends along Ki Bum, Hee Chul, Soo Young, Yunho, and She was popular as a trainee. Actually all of the boys in our circle of friends has a crush on her, do I need to enumerate what pretty thing we saw on her

1. She has a foxy doll face
2. She has a y petite body
3. She know how to speak English
4. Last, she is kind hearted, god fearing and down to earth

But along with the boys, I debuted as member of Super Junior, we seldom saw each other back then, how sad right, but not too long she debuted last 2007 as SNSD member, our counter part

From then we became good friends again, old feelings came back but I think it is different this time, before we debut, we are free to show what we feel but when you become a Hallyu, you have to act according to things, fans bashed her when her pictures with me and other Suju went around the net, she got antis, so sajangnim took controlled of it, SUJU and SNSD rarely had a schedule together just to make the gossip and scandal subside, we got used to it, until we lose contact to each other again

July 2010

Big news came to me early in the morning; sajangnim wants me to go to SM building before 10am

So I fixed myself and went there

I opened the door and I was surprised to see Jessica, with Krystal, their parents, and her grandparents on the left side

While my family was on the opposite side along with my grandparents

I looked at Jessica but she was just there lowering her head

“Hae, take your seat first” sajangnim said to me

“Okay, first of all…. I called you both because your parents wanted to tell you something” he added

“Hae, we decided to make you marry Jessica, little you know, her grandfather and I are best friends” my grandfather started

“WHAT???” I shouted

“Calm down… we decided to get the knot of our friendship tighter by making our children married but unfortunately we both had sons so we decided to pass it to our grandchildren, and in our luck, our longing paid off” he added

“But, we will violate our contract” I still exclaimed

“I already fixed it, Hae” sajangnim informed so calm

“Since both of you are one of my best talents, I decided to approved it, since it your elders last death wish, you will both get married but people in this room will only know about this” sajangnim explained

I sighed

“Hae, please, just for me…” my grandfather asked me while touching my hand

“When is our wedding?” I said before I sighed again

“As soon as possible…” her mom said

All the people in the room cheered and congratulate one another, while Jessica and I just stayed in our seats

“Can I have some time with Jessica…?” I asked them

So they left us two in the room

‘Jessica, how are you?” I asked her

“Fine,,,,” she said shortly

“Do you know this beforehand?” I started to interrogate her

“Nope, just this morning…” I was surprised when just knew the news at the same time

“To be honest… I don’t like their idea….” I honestly said to her

“Me too… I don’t want to get married? Who does right?” she said to me seriously

I was stung from what she said, actually I am just testing her, I just want to know if she was happy even a little a bit that I am her husband to be, but too bad I can read in her eyes, she was saying the truth. Did she never had an interest on me? Ouch!!!

“Good, at least things are clear…” I said coldly and lied

“Thank you because our minds are on the same track” she said with an odd face

End of flashback

“HAE? Your turn already…” she interrupted my thoughts

“Oh, mianhe…” I apologized before I sang my part

We sang way back into love, damn, when it comes to singing English song, her voice nailed it, she was like an angel when she sings, we had a great job finishing it, my halmoni clapped and cheered as loud as she can

We sang more songs by taking turns, but every  happy bonding needs to end, so we bid goodbye to halmoni

Jessica went first in the car, I stayed for a while, I was waiting for Halmoni to finished the bibimbap she prepared for us bring as along in our dorm to give to our group mates

“Here, Hae…” she said as she handed me two lunch boxes, pink for Jessica, blue for me

“Thanks halmoni… we will visit you again, if we are free…” I said as I hugged her

“Just follow you heart…” she whispered to me

“What?” I asked her very surprised

“Don’t be afraid to admit what you really feel for her…” she said while we are both looking at Jessica inside the car yawning and putting lip gloss from a far

“But…” I said but she interrupted me

“Everything’s going to be fine, no man in our family failed to make a woman go crazy over them” she mocked jokingly

“Aigoo… bye…” I said before I run to the car and went in

“Here… halmoni, gave this to you…” I said as I handed the lunch bo to her

“JINJA?” she said happily like a five year old kid

I started the car and was about to passed by halmoni’s house, when I saw her putting down the window and waved to halmoni crazily before she shouted thank you and blew her a flying kiss

“You’re the best granny!!!” she shouted before she went in half of her body and before she closed the window

“CRAZY!!!” I

“Yeah, right….” She said sarcastically before she stretched her arms

“Tired…?” I asked her so caringly

“Yeah….” She said before she yawned again, every little clumsy things she do make my heart crazy

We are half way back home, when I got the guts to ask her what I wanted to ask long time ago

“Jessica…” I called out, I’m speaking but my eyes are focus on the road

“well, we been married for 6 months or more already, we knew each other before we debut, actually I really like you back then, but I don’t have the guts to say to you because I’m afraid you will reject me, I’m such a coward, I know, but here I am now, confessing to you, I know I’m the one who started our deal that, there is no string attach between us when this marriage begun, I know I proposed that we must stayed friends and not to forced ourselves to love each other, but sorry I didn’t kept that promise, I begun to love you again, if you allowed me to, I’ll proved it…” I bravely confessed to her

But I didn’t heard her respond, I thought she was in state of shock, so I glanced at her and in disbelief she was already asleep

I stop the car and went down

“Damn!!!” I cursed

“For the nth time Donghae, you failed again…ARGHHH!!!” I shouted as I kicked the wheels of my car

I stayed for a few minutes and calm myself before I went in, then headed to their dorm
