Jiyeon shot up as the person came out from the dark alleyway. "L!", she half yelled with wide eyes. “You scared me! What are you doing in there”, she looked behind him. “I was waiting for you.” "You never change Jiyeon”, L whispered. Jiyeon glared up at him shortly thereafter. "And what exactly is that supposed to mean?”, she snapped. “Am I being too harsh on him?”, her face fell at this thought.  After all, he’s actions before were egotistical. She pulled away from his grasp and chose to study a rock on the pavement at her feet. A squeak escaped through her lips as those familiar arms trapped her yet again. "Jiyeon-ah”, he whispered, and she allowed her eyes to shut. “Park Jiyeon, can you hear me?” "Huh?", she looked up though her expression betrayed her tone and words. The person standing in front of her wasn’t L, but Kris.  He was here with her.  What was she thinking, of course it would be him who would hug her and grab her like that. "It’s not safe for a young lady like you to go out during this late night”, he tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. Jiyeon sighed as Kris pulled her closer to him. Before she could asked any more question, she heard a voice holler. "Yah!", a call from across the alley broke through the affectionate moment. The couple pulled apart, but only barely. "Excuse me while I go slaughter the bastard who dared to interrupt us", Kris growled as he started to move away. "Oppa!”, Jiyeon forced him to turn back to face her. "Who’s that?", she asked seeing a silhouette approaching them. "Ah, so you must be his new girlfriend. Hi, I’m Luhan", he brought his hand forward for a shake and gave her the sweetest smile. Luhan shook his head. “Since when has he become such a softie.”       Earlier, that night, Kris had received a disturbing phone call that one of his friends, Kangta had been killed, and that the others that were related to him was listed as his next victim. After informing the caller on the line that he wanted nothing to do with it, the person has decided to threaten him about killing his parents next. That was when he got out of his house when he realized that his parents weren’t home yet. He called Luhan up to accompany him and unexpectedly bumped into Jiyeon while he was on his way. Kris hadn’t expected this coming.  He thought he already made it clear. It had started raining when Jiyeon was waiting and it continued to pour harder. She shivered under the rain as there was no shelter nearby. Looking around to find one, she lost her footing and slipped.
