"Let go of me.” "I'm sorry Jiyeon, I didn't mean to, I swear I didn't mean to do it", Kris whispered into her ears after he finally catches up to her. "That’s why I’m going to make sure you won't do it again, so please let me go this instant," she raised her voice. "Please have some mercy on me Jiyeon-ah, I didn't even know it was you", he tried to explain, trying to find a way to evade the furiousness from her. "If you’d listen to what I've said, I would’ve at least made this as painless as possible" she warned him as she elbowed him in the guts. Kris groaned as he loose his grip around her waist.   Jiyeon took this opportunity to flee away when she felt his arms around her again. "Gotcha." She screeched, as she struggled to peel his hands off from her. "Now, what am I going to do to you?" Kris said teasingly as he rested his chin on her shoulder in a fake thought. "Why don't you just go back? I don't need you! I don't need anyone!”, Jiyeon snapped at him, her furious eyes turning into thin, slanted lines as she swirled around and stared at Kris who smirked at the forcefulness of her words. "I don't think so," Kris said as he straddled her waist and pinned her to his chest with one of her hands to him. “You—" "Oh, here it comes, you and your one billion reasons again”, he scoffed in aloofness as he knows her behaviour so well. Jiyeon couldn't bear to look at him so she stared right at his chest since the distance between them were closer than she thought. "Your aura is telling me you are just hiding behind this hard tough guy image because inside you are still a jerk. And you were just so insecure back then and needed the love that she could provide you that I can’t.” Then, she slowly jerked her head up to meet his eyes. “But, I know the truth now”, she said, her voice had a sense of firmness for a usually soft spoken and sweet girl. “What are you doing back here? To see if I’m still miserable after you left me a my worst state?” She kept pushing his chest backwards as she tried her best to keep her tears away. “Yeonnie”, his voice rumbled and she could feel the vibration under her palms. The air outside suddenly became thick with tension and electricity. “That name again", she sighed. Kris stood still as he looked down to see her trying her best to push him away. How could a petite girl like her possibly push a 6 ft1 5/8 tall guy who weighs even more than her?  He felt numb as if he watched her wasting her effort away. The feeling broke after a moment, and remorse, guilt and depression flooded into him. He took a staggered breath and placed both hands on each sides of her shoulder. "Park Jiyeon.” She stopped moving at the call of her name. “Look, I’m seriously so sorry. I didn't mean all that stuff I did to you. I was drugged during that party and you happened to be the first girl I saw. I couldn’t help it. I was under the influence”, he pleaded, his tone now soft and filled with vulnerability. He clutched her from behind and buried his face in her long locks that were getting wet with his tears. "I can't lose you now. I need you baby doll. You're the only one that's ever loved me sincerely, not even my parents...", he couldn't complete that sentence. Sniffing, he wrapped his arms closer around her, hating the tears that rolled down his cheeks. Why was he so weak?  Crying, guilt that all went against his nature.  Kris knew he was cruel and he didn't care about being that way. He didn't even care about people either.  Since he never dealt with the emotions before, he wasn't able to control them now. "A real man never cries”, his father had told him. But the thought of losing Jiyeon again had done this to him. She was the only one he trusted enough to confide his feelings and his painful past.  The only one who brought out this side of him. The one who never judged him.   Jiyeon stayed motionless in his arms, no longer squirming about. Not resisting him, but not hugging him back either, offering him no kind
