War
Description
We are all in war; with the world, each other, and ourselves.
Their meeting was strange, but unforgettable.
He watched over the girl, who took care of everybody but herself.
She kept to herself, he did the same.
Their pasts were filled with memories together, but can feelings tear them apart?
How different people and their individual stories became one story.
Foreword
"Wake up. Don’t fall asleep." Those were the only thoughts running through her mind as she held onto her side.
The color red seeped through her white v-neck, but was covered by her black leather jacket.
She limped weakly on the side of the empty streetlight-lit road.
There was only one person who could help her without questioning her, she had to get to them.
"You are not weak, you are a soldier." she thought to herself, "Stay awake."
Although her mind was determined, her eyelids were behaving otherwise, they felt heavier and heavier.
Clumsily reaching out to whatever she could clutch onto, the girl collapsed on the sidewalk.
She pried her dry lips apart before croaking out one word.
“Help."
