It didn't take long for sungyeol to get better. He woke up early and cleaned around the house silently while he listened to music. He frowned at they're kitchen seeing it needed the most work. He cleaned it well and made korean pancakes glad he had bought food. They had nothing in the fridge but old take out and alittle bit of juice and milk. Slowly they all emerged because of the smell of food. Sungyeol set the table and put down the food while they looked around in shock. " that's the kitchen?" Asked sunggyu mouth opened wide. Then they noticed the food going for a hesitate bite. "Oh my this is amazing!" Said sunggyu looking happy. Sungjong and L tired it before sitting down and eating slowly savoring it. "Thanks I learned how to cook from my mother when I was young. I was im charge of dinner because she worked at the hospital and was tired when she came home. That's why I clean so well. Here is your lunches I gotta run now so im skipping breakfast I got work bye!" Said sungyeol pausing to take coffee he made for himself. He ran out then hearing a shouted good bye from sunggyu. "Its the weekend you'd think he wouldn't have work. " said L a look of pity on his face. Sungyeol worked later then he thought leaving when it was alittle after sun down. He went to do more shopping for what he bought wasn't enough. When he got home he cooked them home made cold noddles. He set up the bowls on the table not planning to eat again but sunggyu stopped him. "Why do I only see three bowls on the table?" Asked sunggyu. "Because I rather sleep then eat. " said sungyeol. Sunggyu rolled his eyes shoving him down on a chair. He made him a bowl as sungjong and L came to sit. Sungyeol's stomach made a loud noise as sunggyu put a bowl down. "Have you eaten at all today?" Asked sunggyu sounding concerned. But sungyeol didn't respond he pushed the bowl away from himself and layed his head down. Sunggyu frowned eating and carrying the sleeping boy to bed. When sungyeol woke he cooked breakfast and ate his share feeling strange. He hardly tired to get to know the people around him but to be honest he was scared to. He walked to the window cleaning it wanting to keep himself busy. L came in and began eating "good morning sungyeol .. how do you like it here?" He asked. Sungyeol jumped "oh fine thank you for letting me stay I promise to stay out of sungjong and your way." Said sungyeol. Sungjong just came in "you don't have to do that. I think we should all become friends with you." Said L lightly. "I don't wanna become his friend he seems to fake to me." Said sungjong. L glared at him about to apologize for sungjong's rudeness but sungyeol had snuck off. L sighed rubbing his head "and you wonder why your alone all the time" said L sounding annoyed. "Did I ask for your opinion?" Askeda sungjong feeling bad now but didn't show it. To be honest he didn't know how to talk to people. He was scared of rejection so he automatically acted mean. Sungyeol walked around town running into rude guys that didn't really like him or his attitude. They smiled glad to have catched hmmm out of school. "Well if it isn't mister attitude. We're really glad to see you out of school. And away from stupid protective dongwoo and Hoya." Said the male. Two of his friends grabbed him while the other beat on hi. "Of course they'd hold me down! What your two scared to fight me one on one?" Asked sungyeol automatically getting kicked in the face. He spit out blood getting punched in the eye. The male grabbed him by the hair so he'd look up just to be punched again. The two male's let go and they all kicked sungyeol. Dongwoo and Hoya came running up then. Hoya grabbed on of the males foot and threw him to his left roundhouse kicking at the one kicking sungyeol in the chest. Dongwoo tackled tackled the last one punching him continuously. Hoya kicked at the two until they ran off. Hoya stopped dongwoo then and the male ran off. They went breathing easier when sungyeol opened a eye. "Are they gone?" Asked sungyeol in a weak tone. Dongwoo began to cry holding sungyeol close. "Im sorry sungyeol." Said dongwoo. "Why are you sorry dongwoo .. it's not your fault I got beat up." Said sungyeol. "B-but I wasn't here to protect you! If I was here you wouldn't be bleeding on me right now!" He said holding sungyeol tightly making him whimper in pain. "Please .. stop the bear hug its hard to breathe as it is." Said sungyeol weakly. Passing out in dongwoo's arms who started sobbing more. When he woke up he was in hoya's house. Hoya's father was examining his wounds. "A few cracked ribs that seem aa though they'll heal on they're own and some massive bruising. But other then that i'd say your fine." Said hoya's father. Sungyeol sat up slowly "thanks .. im gonna walk home i'll see you guys Monday. " said sungyeol weakly. "Wait don't you wanna clean yourself?" Asked hoya's mother but sungyeol shook his head walking out the house. He noticed he had a misses call from L wondering how he had his number. He called him back and he answered on the first ring. "Where are you?" He asked. "On my way home .. sorry i'll make something when I get there. " said sungyeol weakly hanging up on L before he could ask more. He walked alittle quicker and quickly covered himself with a big hooded jacket. He went and cooked a quick fish and kimchi soup. He set the table quickly trying to sneak to the bathroom but sunggyu saw him. "Hey why is your face all red?" He asked. "N-no reason. " said sungyeol but sunggyu pulled off his hood gasping at the site of his face swelling up. "Calm down I just got beat up that's all." Said sungyeol cutting around him but his wrist got grabbed and he was pulled into the bathroom by L and sungjong. "Sungjoon hold him down i'm pretty sure he isn't going to accept me and L's help." Said sunggyu and they took off his clothes til he was in boxers only. They wet dish towels and cleaned sungyeol off. Then sunggyu started treating his wounds with burning alcohol to clean them before bandaging them. "Damn who did this?" Asked L noticing his head was bleeding. They treated it freaking out then L looking furious "you better show me these guys tomorrow!" He ordered and sungjong smiled "you better let me come." Said sungjong smirking. They let sungjong release him and he smiled "thanks." He said before running off to put on clothes. He then whipped tears miserable. He hated those guys for what they did they even made dongwoo cry. When made came L and sungjong walked with sungyeol to school. When sungyeol spotted them he pointed and L walked up to the three. He kicked one in the balls then shoved the other's head to his knee. Sungjong elbowed on in the ribs and kicked him in the stomach. They all fell to the ground and they both glared down at the three "think twice before jumping sungyeol because this is your fate." Said sungjong before walking back to sungyeol who already had Hoya and dongwoo by his sides. "Im sorry for being mean .. let's be friends. " said sungjong and sungyeol nodded " okay deal." Said sungyeol smiling at him. Sungjong smiled back before walking off back home. Hoya and dongwoo gave sungyeol a weirded out look. Before sungyeol could explain L walked up "feel better soon man im pretty sure no one will touch you again after that. " said L and sungyeol laughed "thanks L." He said and L smiled shocking alot of people. He hardly smiled at school so this was a rare treat for them all. He quickly let it fade before he walked off. "Explain everything." Dongwoo and Hoya both said dragging him away from nosy ears. Sungyeol explained and they both made a face "why didn't you tell us you needed a place to stay?" They both yelled when sungyeol finished. "I didn't want to be a bother." He said and dongwoo gritted his teeth "see this is what we're talking about we're family but you just act like your alone! When will you realize that we're here for you?!" Yelled dongwoo and sungyeol sighed. "I didn't tell you because Hoya lives with five siblings and you live in a two bedroom house with 4 little brothers! I couldn't burden you guys!" Said sungyeol frowning. Hoya signed "you are no burden to us please don't say such things again." Said Hoya sounding upset. Sungyeol hugged him "i'm sorry you know how I am. I didn't mean it that way." Said sungyeol softly. "Promise me you'll come to us the next time your in trouble." Said Hoya and he nodded "I promise." Said sungyeol. The rest of the day went in a blur and when he got home they all talked. Sungjong seemed nicer like he was trying to be his friend. But in the end ran out of things to say and ran off. Sungyeol went to sleep happily not minding his new surrounds like he did this morning.
