Chapter 11
The Sun and The MoonLuna sat on the basket in the bathroom that held cleaning supplies. This had become her go-to spot in the embassy when she was feeling overwhelmed. She was overwhelmed. Hearing the footsteps outside the door, she wiped at the tears that were still on her cheeks and stood up to face the mirror.
“Lu? You okay? You looked like you seen a ghost back there.” She and Stacy made eye contact in the mirror and Luna smiled unconvincingly.
“I'm fine”. Her smeared mascara looked extra dark against her oddly pale face. She tried to make a show of messing with her hair to distract Stacy.
“That was him, wasn't it?”
“Him, who?”
“Don't play dumb with me, Luna. The one previously only referred to as 'That Bastard”. It's TaeYang, isn't it? He's the mystery man from Jeju.”

“I did not!! Would you please go back to your desk and get them out of here asap? I'm begging you, Stace. Please. Just help me on this.”
“Oh, I'll help you, all right” Stacy mumbled as she walked out the door.
